It's not rude , however you might find you'll get a less than helpful answer. I would try that and if that doesn't work I would schedule an appointment with another stylist at the same salon and for some service other than cutting your hair and casually ask the question of where_your stylist went? and chances are they know and will tell you. It might cost you alittle something for the service provided but you should get the right answer.. just make sure you get an employee that worked tat the salon during the same time as your stylist.

I worked in a salon, so I know. You can call and ask where she has gone, but I am more than sure they are not going to tell you. There are few reasons for that. First, they are legally obligated not to dispose her personal info (I know, it's sounds weird, you're her client, but it's true.) Secondly, this is not their job anymore to market her since she left. Thirdly, they don't really care.
Here is one thing I can say for sure: usually, when a stylist is relocating, it becomes his personal priority to notify all his regular clients of his new whereabouts by sending them postcards, short courtesy notes, or emails. So, in this case, it is absolutely clear that your stylist's failure to let you know of where she has gone, was rude of her.

Not at all. Though the salon most likely will not tell you. Sometimes a hair stylist will contact their customers. If they were allowed to take cust info with them. Good Luck.

It would not be rude at all. It happens all the time. Most people are loyal to their stylist, not the shop they work in. I have had clients follow me from salon to salon for years. Hopefully she has your address in her client file and will contact you with her new salon name. Some salon owners may be reluctant to tell you what salon she went to, but I am sure someone in the salon will help you out. Anyway, its not rude, it happens all the time.

no way its not rude at all.. as a matter of fact, my dad did the same thing. He has been getting his hair cut with a very nice woman who does a great job and she has become a sort of friend of the family and about a year ago she left to have her baby then shortly after looking to get a haircut my dad went to the place in the mall where she normal]ly worked and they said she had quit so my dad asked where she went to and they told him (ironically another salon in the mall) and now he goes to her in theh new place where she works! = D

no its not rude. call the salon and dont ask the secretary she wont tell you, its a conflict of interest. ask if you can speak to (who ever eles there you know the name of maybe some one she was freinds with) they will probably tell you . or better yet go in and get a 10$ condition treat. and get it out of a gossipy hair stylist.

Say you really love the stylist and then ask where she went. Or you try calling her.

No, go ahead and ask them. But be sure what to tell them, because they won't tell you if it means losing a customer.
So you might say that you're a relative or something feasible.
Good luck!!

No it would not be rude. She is the one you want to cut your hair. Just ask what happened to her and I am sure they will tell you.
