Stop feeling frumpy. Why are you feeling like this? You have the greatest, most rewarding job in the whole world, Smile and be happy. So you look different, and cannot change your wardrobe every season, so what! You kids think you are the greatest , and so should you.
If you wish to change your hairstyle/colour do so. Cheer up your wardrobe with a few cheap accessories, try the charity shops. But mainly it is an attitude of mind. Put on a smile, enjoy your life, and people will notice the difference.

Depends on how old your kids are... If they are still young, it may take a while.
With as little money as possible, buy one or two new clothing items that are fashionable. Make sure they are not too loose or too tight. Look for the perfect thing - don't settle for something that is okay - you already have okay in your wardrobe.
Put make-up on - I could easily leave that out in the mornings, but I feel better if I do it.
Exercise. Do it at home - Lifetime has Denise Austin on every morning early - record it if it is too early.
Get a new haircut...
Make your hubby take you out to dinner - get all made up and get out of the house...
I still feel frumpy, but I do have my good days. :-)

After having two kids ( both boys 5 and 3 years ). I felt terrible and looked even worse. On one of my better days when i felt more human, i put on a nice pair of trousers and a nice top, did my hair and make-up and went to the shops. I felt really good about myself this particular day when i bumped in to a friend who didn't hesitate in telling my how awful i looked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So after that i decided that i would get my hair done, get my nails done, lose weight and buy some really nice clothes ( that I'm still paying for !!!!!!! ) All mothers need some ME time, one day a week or even a couple of hours ( where possible ) to pamper themselves. It really makes a difference.
I know how you feel.

new clothes hair and make up. if you're in uk go to new look and get complete new outfit for under 50 quid (including shoes!!) nice new hair cut - maybe some highlights, and bit of make up. i often feel like frumpy mum coz i can't be bothered doing my hair nice and its easier pulling on pair of comfy jeans.

I try to make sure I take some time every day for myself, mainly after I have put my daughter down for the night. Taking a hot bubble bath works wonders and allows me to be alone with my own thoughts.
Works wonders for me!

Have an affair with the pool boy . . . or the Schwan's man . . . or the lawn care guy . . . or better yet -- all three!
Or just go shopping and make the hubby watch the kids while you relax at a day spa.

firslty lemme tell you its really normal to feel that way...
here's what i did
make sure you have clean hair... for a start
next step maybe get a new more manageable hair cut...
understand that your shape...energy levels and enthusiasm for life will not get back to normal for a while still. my baby is 6months and i can only now say that my "get up and go" is back ...coz honestly...my "get up and go" had got up and went!!!
good luck honey!
dont be too hard on yourself!
peace be with you and your family

Revamp your wardrobe, do you hair, and make sure you get yourself a hobby out of the house to make you feel like you again.
