I am Christian and have been a registered independent all my voting career(28 years). I did not vote for Bush. I agree any radical wing of ANY religion can be dangerous...theocracies do not have a good track record. A terrorist is by no means courageous. The Koran strictly forbids the killing of women and children. How many innocent women and children have been killed in these terror bombings and "suicide" attacks? The president is trying to put his personal belief system into action...but thankfully there are enough sane people in Washington to block his strategy. Christians aren't dangerous as a whole....as I said the fanatical side of any religion is dangerous. If this is frightening you, get a passport,leave....try posting your thoughts about religion in Saudi Arabia....USA's best friend in the arab world....home to future terrorists....women are treated like possesions....cannot run for elected office...well they cannot vote either...and while your there check out when the next public beheadings are scheduled. P.S. buy a dictionary ...

I am a Christian, I am also a sinner, and through Salvation by Grace, I will stand at the foot of my God, I will eventually be judged for everything that I do here on Earth, because of my Freewill that was given to me, I am not going to get to heaven by works alone, it doesn't matter whether I am a good person, nor if I was to try to save anyone I came into contact with...which I would not. I choose to believe in a God not because I have to, because I believe in Jesus Christ, and his sacrifice for all my sin. And Yes, a lot of Christians will be going to hell, that is where many misunderstand the Doctrine, and again, yes you are correct, the devil does walk amongst us in many forms sheepishly seeking out many to do his work. That work is to rebel and warn others of False Teachings, and beliefs, that they say are against the Doctrine, to explain that their teachings are of Truth. So, No, you are not the only one who sees the Danger of Christians.

First of all, not every Christian voted for Bush, cuz I know My parents didn't. Second of all, the people you think are destroying America aren't Christians. Third, of course we want to save evrybody. God put us on the earth to bring more people to Christ. I don't know what your god wants you to do, but I know My God wants me to do His work.? And our Bible says "For who can search His understanding?". No one understands God. The "Christians" who twist the Bible around obviously aren't Christians themselves, just like followers of Islam who go against the Kor'An aren't really Muslim.God dpes care if you believe in Him or not, because only those who believe will get into the Knigdom of Heaven. If He didn't care, everybody, even those who are amoral, would get into Heaven. Lastly, the "Christians" who are going to hell weren't Christians in the first place. Before you say something. make sure you know the facts.

Himmm, lets see- real Christians live and preach love. They take care of the sick, they take care of widows and orphans, they're always ready to give a hand to those in need.
President Bush may not be a true Christian- I base this upon his reports of only going to church 3 times a year, starting a war with bad and false information, and his ability to get us into a political social quagmire with no plan to get us out.
On the other hand, your display of what a Christian is, is truely appaling. Why not actually READ the bible before spouting your ignorance in the form of a question?

First of all, saying that Christians helped vote in this "a hole pres." is like saying that cats help add to pollution....Athiests, democrats, blacks, whites, asians, mexicans, russians, chinese...everyone who voted for him helped vote him into office. blaming one group of people for the president is ignorant.
second, Yes, you are the only one who thinks Christianity is a terrorist threat because the rest of us who passed second grade history learned that America was founded on Christian principles (please see: the pledge of alleg., all paper money, all coins, etc.). your idea that it is a terroist action is ignorant and clearly not well thought out. Christians are not trying to change America to their liking, but to God's liking. We are trying to improve the country and the world for the better, whether you choose to see it that way or not.
Finally, to finish correcting you, blaming Christians the way you are, claiming we "hate America" is the same mindset the Nazi's had, so way to advance the American dream with that one! You are stereo typing and you have either met some people claiming to be Christian who aren't, or you are severly misinformed. All i'm saying is that you're blaming a people group and making unfounded claims. What you're saying has the credibility equivilant to the claim that "all asian people are smart, all japenese people are to blame for pearl harbor, and all jews are to blame for Germany."
I understand you're probably venting, but i just don't get why people make statements such as yours when they obviously aren't interested in the actual answer to their questions. they just want someone to agree with them and complain with them, but they have no interest in seeking out the real answer to their questions. their questions aren't questions but a way to pull other people into their complaining.

Hello Mac
Do you know any Christians????
Here are words of Jesus. After reading them can you tell me you do know some Christians????
Mar 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
Mar 16:18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
God said to keep the Sabbath day holy!
How many people do you know that keeps the Seventh day of the week holy? How many do you know that keep the first day of the week and not very holy????
Following is what the Catholic Church tell the Protestants... They laugh at Protestants..
Exodus 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
James Cardinal Gibbons, Archbishop of Baltimore (1877-1921), in a signed letter.
"Is Saturday the seventh day according to the Bible and the Ten Commandments? I answer yes. Is Sunday the first day of the week and did the Church change the seventh day - Saturday- for Sunday, the first day? I answer yes. Did Christ change the day'? I answer no!
"Faithfully yours, J. Card. Gibbons"
How prove you that the Church hath power to command feasts and holydays?
By the very act of changing the Sabbath into Sunday, which Protestants allow of; and therefore they fondly contradict themselves, by keeping Sunday strictly, and breaking most other feasts commanded by the same Church." Henry Tuberville, An Abridgment of the Christian Doctrine (1833 approbation), (Same statement in Manual of Christian Doctrine, ed. by Daniel Ferris [1916 ed.]
Catholic Press, Aug. 25, 1900
"Sunday is a Catholic institution, and... can be defended only on Catholic principles.... From beginning to end of Scripture there is not a single passage that warrants the transfer of weekly public worship from the last day of the week to the first."
"It is well to remind the Presbyterians, Baptists, Methodists, and all other Christians, that the Bible does not support them anywhere in their observance of Sunday. Sunday is an institution of the Roman Catholic Church, and those who observe the day observe a commandment of the Catholic Church."--Priest Brady, in an address at Elizabeth, N.J. on March 17, 1903, reported in the Elizabeth, N.J. News of March 18, 1903.
Peter R. Kraemer, Catholic Church Extension Society (1975), Chicago, Illinois.
"Regarding the change from the observance of the Jewish Sabbath to the Christian Sunday, I wish to draw your attention to the facts:
"1) That Protestants, who accept the Bible as the only rule of faith and religion, should by all means go back to the observance of the Sabbath. The fact that they do not, but on the contrary observe the Sunday, stultifies them in the eyes of every thinking man.
"2) We Catholics do not accept the Bible as the only rule of faith. Besides the Bible, we have the living Church, the authority of the Church, as a rule to guide us. We say, this Church, instituted by Christ to teach and guide man through life, has the right to change the ceremonial laws of the Old Testament and hence, we accept her change of the Sabbath to Sunday. We frankly say, yes, the Church made this change, made this law, as she made many other laws, for instance, the Friday abstinence, the unmarried priesthood, the laws concerning mixed marriages, the regulation of Catholic marriages and a thousand other laws.
"It is always somewhat laughable, to see the Protestant churches, in pulpit and legislation, demand the observance of Sunday, of which there is nothing in their Bible."
Stultifies:
Prove to be of unsound mind or demonstrate someone's incompetence.
To make someone or something appear absurd, foolish, contradictory, etc.
To cause something to be useless, worthless, futile, etc.
The Catholic Churchs knows the truth.... They prefer not do obey. "O" yes,so do protestants... The real Christans may not have done the things you claim....Can you say Satan???? Please be careful when you use the word Christian.
Have a good day..

You are equating Christians and Muslims because Christians try to "save" you and Muslims try to "kill" you? Don't fall while making the intellectual leap, there.
So, what you really hate is democracy and the fact that people that think differently than you can have political power.
Am I right?

I am a Christian, but I did not vote for Bush. Surprise, and not all Christians are right wing, conservative, just like not all Muslims are terrorists. You shouldn't make such wide generalizations about people.

They do kind of freak me out too. Both in what you said and in the way they salivate over armegeddon. They seem to want it to happen. I see no moral value in embracing the destruction of life.
I agree with what someone else said, fundamentalism is bad whether it be Muslim, Christian, Jewish or anything else.
I wish they'd keep their salvation to themselves.

Your diatribe is essentially correct. Except that the 'Christians' of whom you speak, are 'christian' in name only. They have not had the heart change, and do not know God or His Son Jesus. You can see it in their lives. They are disobedient to the Word of God so God has handed them over to the one they love, Satan. They want to dictate/force the conscience of every one on the planet, and I am against that.
