When i was little i used to eat milk, yogurt, etc... everyday.
and everything was fine.

but then for about maybe 2 years i hardly consumed any dairy at all. no perticular reason. i just didnt.

but now when i eat milk, cereal, ice cream, etc...., i get a mild case of diariha. This happens every single time that i eat any form of dairy.

this didnt happen to me when i was young??
Is there a certain reason why this happens??
or am i ganna be one of those grumpy old guys that tells his wife that he wants milk and she replies "you know what happens when you drink milk"??

Your allergies change every seven years, I used to be able to have chocolate, at least a little bit, now I have chocolate and I end up in the hospital. Also I could eat peanut butter which I just love, and now my throat closes up so tight it just about kills me to breath. I have always been allergic to milk, but now if I touch it I have to be in the hospital to get treatment with in 5 minutes or my body reacts to it as a poison. I live a good 20 minutes from the hospital and that is with the ambulance going full speed with sirens on. So stay away from the products. Change to soya products, at least that way you will be sure you don't get mad cow disease. They make cheese, yogurt, frozen desert which I am told is just like ice cream. They also have cakes and other products from coffee rich. Check the freezer of your local grocery. Enjoy

Usually, that's a sign of lactose intolerance. My specialist told me that 100% of people over the age of 4 are lactose intolerant, but some have no symptoms. But on the flipside, he also said that everyone needs the calcium and nutrients in milk to maintain healthy bones. I was the same way, drank milk and milk products all my life, then suddenly I had other problems, which the specialist diagnosed as lactose intolerance...even though there seemed to be no connection. I went off of all milk products for a week and then had a few sips of milk, which I promptly threw up. So once that was determined, he said that I should drink Lactaid and take Lactaid pills before eating ice cream. I found that Lactaid milk tastes the same as milk (which it is) only a bit sweeter. All they have done is taken ordinary milk and removed the Lactose from it so that it can be digested easier.
When you think about it, it makes sense. Cows milk is designed for cows. It turns little baby calves into 2000 lb adults in a short period of time. I take calcium and osteogen supplements now because I just can't get milk down but I want the benefits of the viatmins.

Seems like you're lactose intolerant. I was the same way when I was a kid, I drank a ton of milk. Now I get like that too when I drink milk. Ask your doctor and he or she can prescribe you some pills for it that you take directly before eating dairy products.

Everyone calls it Lactose intolerance... but, guess what the "Fit for Life" book calls it? Milk is made for a 400 lb. calf, and no one should be drinking it, after weaning stages.. According to this book, once a baby is weaned from his/her mother's breasts, so long as he/she eats a healthy well-rounded meal, 3 times a day, and healthy snacks in between, our bodies, no longer need milk period!!! I dont care what these commercials say, about so much dairy helps you lose weight, and or the FDA, stating we need so much milk, its just like the government saying we absolutely need Oil !!! So many people have invented cars that are environmentallly safe, that our Government would not allow to get "Patented" because of all the money, they'd lose out of their own Pockets!!! Its all a conspiracy theory, that we need oil, just like we need a "Global-Warming"!! And just like we need this new desease called Lactose Intollerance!!! come on!!! There's no such thing!! Its called your getting sick, because the body is rejecting it, because, we dont need it anymore, when we've been weened, from our baby-stages... Its made for a 400lb.calf, for crying out loud, not humans!!! It can give anyone & everyone, any kind types of illnesses, just because of the simple fact our bodies weren't made to digest dairy products, period !!! It turns to into a "Glue" type of substance, in our stomache's because we're not suppose to be drinking it at all !!! Switch to Soy, if you have to have milk, or drink alot of water, so your body, wont want it.. Or just eat alot of steamed vegetables, with whole grain wheat bread, and lots of fruit, and lots of protein, in which you can find in fish, chicken, and beef.. I highly recommend salmon for the fish, it has alot of amino acids in it that are really good for us, and alot of vitamin E, which is also good for our skin, and so long as you are eating a well-rounded, meal atleast once,a day, and maybe take a multi-vitamin, you should never ever have to drink milk again!! Enough said....Hope you feel bettter! Smile!!

Milk makes you feel like crap because milk is crap. Most of the world is lactose intolerant... Even if you ate it when you were a kid, you probably didn't really do well with it then... You were probably just used to it... Going a while without it probably helped your body rid itself of all the milk from before. Now, you are more sensitive.

Milk is not as healthy for us as we have been led to believe. The milk we buy at the grocery store has had the protien removed and the healthy bacteria killed. Humans are the only mammals on the planet that drink milk after infancy.

sounds like you're developing an allergy to milk or lactose intolerance. it's not uncommon to develop food allergies later in life when those foods you've eaten in your youth are now toxic, i would defintely get checked out though by an allergist or your general practitioner...

in the meantime i would try the usual non-milk alternatives (soy milk , lactaid, etc.).

personally i think soy milk tastes like watery 10W30... yuk.

good luck and like the old joke goes:

"Doctor, it hurts when I do this..."
"So don't do that..."

It seems you're lactose intoleran(sp?) but it's just as well, you'll be healthier without it, think about it milk was designed by nature to make a baby cow really big in a short amount of time.besides soymilk tastes waaaay better

Go to the Doctor and get a lactose intollerance test. You can take medication to stop the lactose intollerance so you can have dairy.
