We all are where we are in our relationship to God. Some are closer at this moment than others. Nothing that has been said here can't be forgiven. We keep chipping away and they will come to know Jesus the way we do.
Bless them and all of us

To a point, Christy, but you have to remember that America is far more Christian than Corinth, Thesalonia, Phillipi, Ephesia, and other areas of the world were during the time of the early Christian church.
In Rome before the rule of Constantine, Christians were a minority in society and suffered much worse persecution than we suffer today.
How do you think Jesus felt when he was executed, not by outsiders, but by people whom he knew? That would be much more depressing than anything you read on this board.
If you ever need to put things into perspective go read the Letters of Paul.

I am disappointed in the number of stupid questions that are asked and at the amount of Christian bashing there is. The sarcasm is really not necessary, nor the ridiculous amount of detail information that some questioners deem necessary to include----much of it pointless and sometime unintelligible. I had suggested a category for these people: Idiots, Morons and Imbeciles, but there seems to be no popular move to include it among the listings.

You make ME sad, you think god is affected at all by my blaspheming him? Here's what else makes me sad:
Exodus 11:5 And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts.
11:6 And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.
11:7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel

how can you preach and ask questions about something that you have not seen or heard or spoen or touched?.. only words from a 2000 year old book called the bible which is likely to be a old version of our modern day harry potter books.. just because a book tells you storys doesnt beleive it is true.. if you do then surely there is something wrong?.. if i beleived every word i read from a 2000 year old book people would think im nuts.. religeon is just a fashion.. 1st the egyptions with there gods..then the buddahs with theres.. now others have popped up .. in 1000 years time we will most likely have some more.. it's just an idea of how people should live which is a good thing.. but dont beleive all you read.. do you beleive everything you read in newspapers?. ???. then why do u beleive a antique book?

The only reasons for Christians to bad mouth God is that they may not have been taught the true teachings of God and his son, Jesus Christ, or they do not listen to the Holy Spirit, of peace and good will toward men. Christianity today is many the religion of the Pharisees of the Holy Bible, they were the Jews that were the ones that had the best seats in temple or head of the tables in other people houses, they did not give lip service to God in their hearts, but, they acted holy as possible to make other people look bad. Us, true Christians are not Pharisees, more like the apostles and even like Saint Paul, we are the ones that follow the teachings of God in all forms of the Holy Bible and the Holy Spirit and we will lose our lives for his sake, and not pay any mind to what our neighbor does, because we know that we are only human and God is the extreme and that is who will follow and not be ashamed of our beliefs even though we are poor, or living way below the poverty line, we live in hellish family relationships and we are the outcast of our society. We are the true Christians and we are proud of our faith and belief in God, we are not braggers, we let God" Holy Spirit brag for our sake.

Remember this is just a small sampling of people and not a large enough cross-section of the population to draw much conclusions. It is indeed sad that so many on here express their opinions in such poor manners.
I am sad that they express themselves as they do...I wonder what experiences they have really had with Christians in their lives or if they just go on he said she said hear say. If they have had turn off experiences from Christians that is sad that well meaning Christians would do things in way so as to turn others away. Do things that turns others away of causes others to turn away is not a good stand.
To argue with others who are just looking to get at you on here is not the way to go....listen and learn from what they say and then live you life in a manner that shows who and what you are....this forum will not allow for much of that because many on here are not here for open free discussion but to put down and ridicule....feel sorry that they have not yet (and may never) reach the mature to have a good well informed discussion.

I don't feel any sympathy for them at all. Been on the Internet a long time and I'm used to stupid responses. God gave us all free will. Those people that are like that are doing it of their own free will and they don't want you to feel sad for them.

its easy to blaspheme a god that dose not exist he's just a fairy tail in ur head
if what u believe in is true about 70% of the people will go to that lake of fire u believe in because they don't believe what u believe in
just shows what a pathetic plan of salvation ur god created
no perfect god would come up with such a flawed plan for those he claims to love
i pity u christians who are so lost and mislead in your desires to believe in what you want to believe in irregardless of what the truth is

Christy L,
I feel sad sometimes, but I not for long. If God could love a f'ed up sinner like me, then He gets most of my attention anyway. I don't have time to mourn, I have only time to do His will.
I haven't gotten it all figured out, but it looks like we might be going this week. I hope so. The Earth has used the mouth's and minds that God gave them to hate God. I tire of their sins and mine also.

Sorry, your lord is not the one right lord for me. Good luck accepting that people are different and different things are best for them than are for you. I don't feel lost and I'm so relieved I don't need to be saved and that there is no sin. It works for me, so quit trying to change me. I don't need your pity.
