Well the first thing is stop making excuses!
you must do it with the food too! bring your lunch in if the food that is supplied to you isn't what you want!
if you want to lose the weight you will!
when it comes to something that is harder to do it's most likely the right thing to do! so if you find it harder to put the junk food or unhealthy food down! then that's what you need to do cuz that will be your winning ticket to weight loss!
You have a great start by running!
Just increase your time or add an extra mile to your run weekly...
A. Yes your goal is reachable! but don't forget it's not really the goal your craving it's the journey...
B. you are going to accomplish this by your hard work! it won't fall on your lap! it won't be easy in fact losing weight is one of the hardest things to do... so your going to stick with it and keep focused on what you want...to lose weight!
Habits fall into play to so watch them if they are not helping your goal then retrain your habits to go towards your goal
C. if you have the mind power to control your unconciousness then you can do anything... understanding your uncociousness is key! Having your conciousness control your uncociousness and you'll be fine...
with anything Visulaize it happing visulaize that day and you with out the extra weight! take in all the 5 sences! focus on it daily! at least 15 minutes a day!
and the bottom line
is Just do it!
Good luck!
Track is fun!!! :)
Mad luv!

The running is a very good start, continue building on it. The next thing is to eat a very balanced diet, I suggest packing your own lunch instead of the school lunches. (PB and J only takes a minute or so to make, and it is far healthier than anything they serve at a school) Make sure you get your fruits and veggies and enough protein. Just think heathy foods. And no matter what anyone says, DO NOT starve yourself or use diet pills. Your results will last if you keep up with the exercise and healthy eating. Being school-aged and wanting to go out for track, I would also avoid fad diets such as Atkins and South Beach. You need your carbs if you are going to run competitively.
The best thing is to lose weight slowly, but you might reach your goal in 6 months if you work really hard.
Good luck!

My ideas? Try to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. Work hard, but don't over 60 minutes at a time. Do planks and other abs exercises on alternate days.
On training days, do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.
The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!
Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.
Read magazines like Shape, Womens Fitness, Fitness, etc to get tips and to stay motivated.
Good luck and stick at it. This plan has lost me 20 lbs in 12 weeks so far, just go for it!

Yes you can lose the weight in 6 months. I recommend drinking lots of water. Keep moving while your watching TV do leg lifts or something. Also park further away from the door when you go to the store or wherever. The extra movement will add up to pounds lost. Keep running as well, though you should increase the time (gradually) to 30 minutes at least 3 times a week.

Your goal is reachable. But jeez, your weight is FINE! You don't need to lose anything, but since it is your body...
three rules for your simple and traditional way to lose weight:
Work out, healthy food, and portion control.
1. Try working out three days a week at minimum, for a half and hour to an hour. Do something you enjoy, and eventually increase your endurence.
2. Eat healthy foods. Make sure to ingest certain vitamins, and don't neglect food. You'll gain.
3. You need to control your portion, no matter what you're eating. If you over eat, not only will you feel bad but it will slow you down.
There are two things to remember. Everyone who tries to lose weight in this healthy way will gain before they burn. It's muscle conversion. And also, working out is an extremely, as I'm sure you know, important component to weight loss. It is SO essential to health.
But you're not stupid :D
Happy celery munching!

Losing weight is difficult. But here I am introducing you some tips to lose a small amount of weight in a healthy that that is also within a week.
Steps to losing weight fast
* Get a set of small hand weights, 3, 5 or 8 lbs.
* Do five to ten minutes of weight lifting for a half an hour after each meal. Lie on your back and slowly lift yourself up with weights in each hand. Do this daily for the full seven days.
* Before or after you take a bath or a shower each day, do five minutes of jogging in place, your weights in hand.
* Do not eat greasy foods. Drink only water and fruit juice. Eat a portion of vegetables at every meal.
* In the morning try to eat fruit. Do NOT dump heaps of sugar on your cereal.
* Follow this regimen for seven days and you will see results.
* Take time to cook, Make food look appealing; don't be afraid to try new things. If you're not sure how to prepare or eat things you can go on an online search engine (such as google) and look how recipes and how to eat things.
* It is a shown fact that one of the "weight loss tips" is not true, many of us believe that if we eat late at night the food turns directly into fat. This is only a myth, food is stored all day into fat, it has nothing to do with time. Make sure you eat a lot of protein, this is important because if you don't have enough protein in your diet you will lose muscle and not fat.(Muscle will be burned but not as much). And finally have fun with it! Make up a dance or jump rope to music, getting active doesn’t mean boot camp!
Quick tips
* Eat plenty of vegetables with each meal.
* Drink plenty of water
* Before buying any food, look for carbs, calories and sugar in the ingredients. You'll want to cut down on all three.

To lose weight, a person has to reduce the calorie intake by some amount by modifying their diet. A diet without sufficient nutrients will only increase the appetite of the person trying to lose weight. Since most people combine a diet with an exercise plan, additional nutrients are required for the growth of muscles required to increase the metabolic rate required for long term weight loss. After checking your BMI (see link below), I see that you are in the "normal" weight category. I would not suggest trying to loose 25 pounds. If you feel that you need to slim up, you can try exercises that will tone your muscles. However, if you are training for an athletic event, your muscle mass will build up. This will again increase your weight. Therefore I would suggest exercising not only by running but by biking (or using an exercise bike), lifting weights (carefully) and swimming. Consulting with a trainer would help because they can tailor the exercises to your body. In addition to exercise, a good diet can also help. Kraft foods offers to help you plan meals and fitness online (see link below). In general, eating a balanced diet such as what you can make with the food pyramid (see link) will help.
Good luck.
