I try and smile at least once a conversation... usually it's genuine.. I'd say 85% of the time.

I don't keep count. But when I smile, it is always genuine. I can't fake a smile. Besides, it annoys me to fake anything for the pleasure of someone else. *shrug*

I used to work in costumer service, I smiled at a lot of people everyday, however none smiled back. I never meant my smiles though, because people were mean.Really, you can't return a CD once you have listened to it!

as long as I'm in a good mood, I smile at pretty much anyone who makes eye contact... not so many smile back. We live in such a fearful and insecure world. Makes me sad.
by the way.... I love the screen name. Didn't think anyone else on here had heard that song.

Countless times and yes I'm genuine. I love my job and have really great co-workers that make me laugh and smile often. I'd not trade it for anything else.

I treat most people like they were my own family.
To say all would be not true because many people are incompatible with deep friendship.
I smile constantly.
My friends make my circle and that is my world.
Although my ego doesn't need them technically, it sucks to be all alone in the dream of the proud. We need communication and smiles are a great form of it.

I had bad plastic surgery so I am smiling 24/7. It is never genuine
I think the people who smile back are self obsessed to assume that i might be smiling at them

I do it almost anytime I encounter someone in my office. I don't often do it in public because people freak and think you're going to attack them or something! Yes, it's usually genuine from me, I like the people I work with. I'd be friendlier out in public, but it really makes people nervous!
