How about me? And I am way past my 20s...never met my dad's family, not once, although I talked with one uncle in my 20s and got some pictures through the mail...and there are quite a few of them, including two half brothers I have never met. I am closer with my mom's family, but then again have only been with them a half dozen times or so, due to distance, but at least I know who they are and where they are at...

Yes, there are still several members of my dads family that I do not know. I was 22 before I met alot of my aunts and uncles for the first time. The live 6 hours from us so we only see each other at super important functions.

My mom was kicked out of the house when her family found out she was dating a Babtist. They were Catholic and that was Taboo back in the day.... Anyway, she doesn't associate with any of them anymore. My Dad's side are all dead....He was an only child of an only Divorced child. So, no family there....
It's not easy being alone. However, I have extended families that have adopted me. That is really nice. I do consider tham as part of my family.

I haven' meet anyone other than my grandma from my mother's side of her family. Heck I even have a uncle and never meet the guy. They are horriable people and don't need them in our lives and I just moved to a town where I guess alot of them live. Imagine that

I still havent meet one side of my mom's family. I didnt even see my grandparents on either side. I rarely see my cousins because they live on the other side of the country...California. It gets annoying because I want to know what they are like and what kind of people they are. Like if they are the perfect kind or the sloppy kind.

i know most of my mother's family bc they are like cockroaches coming out of walls all the time. (not trying to be mean to them i really do love or at least like most of them) but my father's family i never knew outside his parents and his one brother. Now that he has passed away my grandmother has put me in contact with a few of his cousins which has been fun. We now email each other once in awhile.

Yeah. If you are from two parents who are from different places like me then you'll have so many of them that you have not met.
