Not a Christian issue, but yes, you are asking too much. It will not happen. They want the destruction of each other (Israel/Palestine). They raise their families to hate each other.

After the UN partitioned Palestine into Israel and Palestinian sectors (the post partition Palestine was the West Bank, Trans-Jordan, and the Gaza Strip). When the Arabs attacked Israel in 1948, the Jordanians siezed Trans-Jordan and the West Bank while the Egyptians took the Gaza Strip. Did EITHER the Egyptians OR the Jordanians give the land back to the "Palestinians" after the 1948 war? - Absolutely not.
Another strange fact is the PLO was formed, with the help of Jordan and Syria, in 1965. The PLO did not fight/terrorize the Jordanians or the Egyptians who controlled "Palestinian" land they attacked Israel. Israel didn't occupy the West Bank or Gaza until after the 1967 war - TWO years later.
Were the Egyptians of Jordanians ever admonished by the UN for occupying the West Bank the Gaza Strip? No. Have the Jordanians ever been sanctioned by the UN for continuing to occupy Trans-Jordan to this day? No. Then why do people still insist that Israel give up the West Bank and the Gaza Strip that they won in 1967 and reaffirmed again in 1973? They have as much or more rights to that land as anyone else in the region. The Pals under Israeli rule fared much better off than when Jordan and Egypt ruled what they percieve to be their land.

Christians and Muslims have no problem in sharing the Holy Land...In Palestine are both Christians and Muslims and they get along just well...The problem is that the Jews are occupying that land and they claim is theirs...Of course they are really hypocrites when it comes to that...They are the ones who refuse to share it with the Muslims and Christians living in the Palestinian occupied territories...But back in 1919,when they asked for the creation of a Jew state in South America, later in Africa they could not care less if it's their Holly Land or not...

If you are telling the Christians and Muslims to grow up and raise their families follow their own religions and shate holyland together, why don't you tell the Jewish Zionists to let the Christians and Muslims do that??
NOTE: When I visited Palestine I found that it was the only country in the world where Christians and Muslims love eachother.
Jewish Zionists don't let the world live in Peace.
Please Wake Up People
Sincerely

True Christians and the nation of Israel (the Jewish people) are not in dispute over the land. The land belongs to Israel because the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob gave it to them 4000 years ago. He hasn't changed His mind. According to scripture, the return of Israel to their land is the fulfillment of God's promise to them. In other words, they are a nation today, and dwelling in that land today today because HE has put them there.
Of course the muslims want to take the land from the Jews. They oppose the true God in every way imaginable. But I agree with you, I think that they should learn to get along with others, if they are capable of that.
True Christians celebrate the history that is in the land of Israel. In fact, there are many many Christians that go there and bring lots of tourism dollars with them. This is generally viewed as "much appreciated" by the people who live there. Jews and Christians have a growing appreciation for one another, generally speaking.

They can't and won't agree because it belongs to Israel. it's complicated but it is similar to the story of Jericho in the book of Joshua in the Bible. God said that the land belonged to the Israelites. And if God says it, its just the way it is. So the people of Jericho heard this and had a choice to accept it or reject it. Most rejected it, but one woman, Rahab accepted it. She faced the facts, believed it was true and her life was spared. Her city wasn't but her life was. It is the same today. Muslims today in Israel who are accepting the truth that the land belongs to Israel are being blessed but the rest are going to suffer unless they accept this reality. There is no way around it. God is in control of all things.
