Thanks for everyone's help with my 1st cooking Q ..... BUT, i've decided against making soup tonite...... SOOOOO, do any of you have a George Foreman grill? if so, would it work to grill chicken breasts on? (and if so, how long does it take?)

Yes it will but if you marinade them the cooking time will always be less. Note: Marinating is actually a cold slow cooking process itself

From the George Foreman grilling booklet, this one is quick, easy and delicious! I find that the chicken takes about 4 to 5 minutes to cook, but you'll need to get the "feel" of your own GF grill and cook accordingly. You don't want to overcook it, or it will taste dried out.

4 to 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon dried tarragon
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Remove all traces of fat from the chicken. Place each chicken breast between 2 sheets of plastic wrap and pound (flatten) to a uniform thickness (about 1/2 inch). Combine the remaining ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Add the chicken and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Grill.

I grill Chicken on my GF grill all the time. Cook time depends how thick they are, average thickness usually take 10-15 for mine. Hope this helps! Happy grilling!

chicken cooks great on the goerge formen grill, you can tell how long it takes by the looks of it, It will grill nice and if you have to cut it a bit to look in the middle to make sure it is cooked all the way

yes i have one and it works great for chicken, you can cook any kind of food on it, and it takes the fat out with the tray for the drippings
