why cant israel and palestine just grow up and live side by side raise their families and follow there own religions where ever they want ?merge the countries and just live wherever does it really matter that much? your thought please?

It will never happen.
Palestine-Israel problem is the main excuse for the Islamic terrorism to exist. They don't want a solution.
Every time an accord seem to be close they explode another bomb to stop the peace process.
In countries where unemployment is high, terrorism is a well financed profession.
Palestinian and israeli common people are the main victims of this situation.

You may be an idealist, atheist, moralist or pacifist. Yet many people are rivalists.. religionists.. politicists or at least ideologists. As long as there are religions, the mind will never grow up, because people limit their minds by their ideology, thereby hindering the mind growth. Thus they can't live in peace because they live in fear of losing their (religion or ideology)

If someone robbed your house, would you be able to "grow up" and live side by side with the robber?
Israel resides on stolen land. It's hard to not feel resentful when land that your people have owned for hundreds of years is suddenly taken from you and given to "more civilized" people.

Wow. No. Read up on it. They are taught in school that the other are pigs/dogs. They are taught to hate. They had a chance to make two states back in 48(?) and rejected it. To merge them is certain death.
