I've seen people's top ten militaries and none of them include Canada. I have also seen in websites and i have never seen Canada on the list?
I'm an American, but i'm just curious. Oh, and when was the last time Canada was in a War?

I think it's very disrespectful to say us American Idiots to die for u canadians. And for the person who said Brits train the Americans, that doesn't mean S.H.I.T!!
We are still smarter and better than the Brits. We still got the best MILITARY, and we are the most POWERFUL country which is why everyone is HATING on us. Bunch of HATERS!
America has not been defeated in a war. And for that Canadian guy, i guess YOU Canadians are COWARDS for hiding. you just made Canada look bad. I have respect for everyone cause we are all just human beings.

And plus, we don't even need all that training the Brits get, we have the TECHNOLOGY! WEAPONS. And there is a lot more to come. I heard US Infantry will be carrying these cool new weapons by the beginning of 2007, and this other thing that i forgot. Anyways, i'm tired, the US is the most POWERFUL military PERIOD!
But i do respect the Brits military.

Well, the military didn't lose in vietnam. The US killed more enemies than they killed us in Vietnam.
If we both got 5 team members, i kill 4 of yours and u kill 2 of mine, i kicked your ***. The rest of the stuff is different. Vietnam was terrible though!! I hope nothing like that ever happens again.

Canada has troops in Iraq, and they fought with us in the Gulf War. I would imagine that their military is the same as ours which is the same as British.

Canada has a bet er military than America, who would you rather have behind you an American or a Canadian, ask any British soldier no friendly fire nothing friendly about it,
when did America last win a war????

they are at the top of some charts while not mentioned on others... the problem is that they have a numerically small military which tends to preclude their place on most league tables...
actually they are up in the top 5!

This league table is based on actual professional quality and elite status... I have served alongside all of them and believe me! the Canadians are not to be fooled around with!
ps.... canada has sent troops to all the major wars of the 20th century... WWII , Korea, The gulf, Peacekeeping for the UN and for all you americans out there who dont know any better... Canadian Special forces fought alongside Aussie/NZ and Brit Special Forces in Laos/Cambodia /Vietnam (Look up the SOG ops history's... most of the operations were classified and all were NOT advertised in the Media.
PPS... For all you armchair generals out there with an axe to grind (the 'we hate America' and 'we hate canada' mob)... Shut the hell up. We are all on the same side, all you achieve with your mindless gripes is to give comfort to our enemys! I lost friends from my regiment to friendly fire (US in origin) but i still married an american and hold US military in high regard. You can gripe ONCE YOU have worn the uniform and spent a week in the field with crap in your pants (the less well advertised side of army life) and faceless badguys shooting at you all the time.
PPPS... British Blue on Blues occured during the Falklands war, Brithish Tactital bombing in WWII killed a lot og GI's and I dare say the Canadians have had a few as well... Friendly fire is not a US invention.... Hell, English longbows during the hundred years war killed more then their fair share of englishmen...

Canadian military they have a low profile but there are very professional . I prefer to be in the line of fire with a Canadian or British trooper than with a GI ( to great a risque for blue on blue )
never lost a war ? what about Vietnam?

oh and the last time i checked the military wasnt made out of the sharpest tools in the shed, the smarter ones are those who get others to there dirty work for them. Dont worry when the time comes that we need to find another way to exist we will use america some other way.

Canada has an outstanding armed forces very disciplined and not gung ho...they like us Brits have suffered at the hands of so called friendly fire!!!!! say no more

Thomas R..We have a better military than Britain (Not saying Britain has a bad military at all, Its great too) But Canada is lower than both..Their not terrible either..Theyre fighting w/ us in Afganastan

With their little eyes and small brains (like a ferret), it is hard for Canadians to be good at anything except hockey. So the military is just slightly more fierce than the Girl Scouts.
