How to put a trip to NYC from Ala to see Color Purple?

I am interested in a group of us going to see
The Color Purple in NYC; but not sure how to go about pricing, airplane, bus rates; any help?

i seen the play the color purple and it is not what i expected i mean it was good in away but i some what lost interest in it. I mean you would have to see if for yourself, but that's what i though about it maybe you can call the Broadway theater order your tickets by phone or by ticket master online and also try going to expedia .com i love that site for my planning
