gas. in about another hour or so you should be ripping some farts pretty nicely. after then, you'll be back to normal. digestion causes gases to form. you, in turn, release them as farts or burps. once all the natural gases have escaped, you'll be right as rain.

It can take up to 20 minutes for your body to signal to you that it is full, this is a common problem with people who become very overweight. As for why you are still full 2.5 hours later, you got me. Perhaps it's not actually a full feeling but rather a discomfort from the large meal or something in the meal that is bothering you.

Your brain is supposed to release a chemical in your brain when your stomach is full, but it takes time to release. If you ate the whopper too fast, you wouldn't feel the "fullness" feeling for a while.

It takes your brain about 20 minutes to register that you're full. I don't know why you're still full now (I need to be eating all day), but that could explain why you're more full now than you were while eating it.

I've heard that sometimes it takes awhile for your brain to realize that you are full (which is why we overeat).

When your stomach is full, it releases chemicals that tell your brain that it is full. Sometimes the reaction is delayed.
