You shouldn't eat only once a day to begin with. You are actually making it harder to lose weight by doing so because you are slowing down your metabolism. You should try eating three times each day. You can still lose weight eating three times a day if you eat fruits, vegetables, and lean protein. Eat your carbs at midday if you want them. You body can use them then. It can't use carbs at night or early in the morning. You should also be drinking a lot of water - not coffee. When your stomach is growling and your body feels hungry, you need to eat. Otherwise, you won't have the energy you need to finish your daily task. By skipping meals, you are only going to make yourself die thin. Don't do diet foods or diet drinks. Switch to only the purest and most natural foods. Eat three times a day and drink lots of water. Cut out sugar, too.

If your trying to loose weight YOU STILL HAVE TO EAT otherwise your body goes into starvation mode and hoards fat... so you end up not loosing anything.. the best way to lose or maintain your weight is to eat several SMALLER meals a day and EXERCISE that's the only way ... you can munch out on veggies any time but don't get too much juice as it's better to eat the fruit itself for the fiber... as for coffee... thats another not so good idea .. reg or green tea would be more beneficial to you in the long run... good luck

Eating once a day won't make you loose weight.. You need to eat small portions atleast 5-6 times a day, and drink lot's of water... So, when you get hungry, you should eat, or drink water.. Sometimes when you're thirsty, you would feel a bit hungry...

First of all, losing weight by starvation only causes bounce back weightgain in the end. You should try a healthy diet, eating three healthy meals, or even 6 small meals a day.
Eat healthy proteins, fish, chicken, some red meat, turkey, nuts. Eat only whole grains. Eat fresh vegetables. Avoid white starch and white sugar.
To make the hunger pangs subside, drink LOTS of water.
Depending on your weight and stature, the usual dieting recommended caloric intake is 1000 - 1500 calories per day. Make them count, get some good healthy fulfilling food into your tummy!
Good luck! :-)

Have a small breakfast somethingl like toast and fruit juice. then a small dinner meal , and an eevening meal.
As long as you are eating healthy, you can lose weight by exercising rather than starving your body.
Drink befere you have a meal , put meals on a smaller plate , eat 5 fruits a day , but Do not fall into the trap that you have to be slim because the world thinks you should.
Only diet if you need to!!!

Skipping meals is NEVER a good way to loose weight. Your body begins to adapt to the deprivation and therefore ends up storing more fats to protect itself. One of the best ways to lose weight is to "graze"... this means eating small, sensible snacks or meals with low calorie counts and low fat contents. This will also keep your tummy happy and silent through class.

P.S. Coffee is a diuretic which means not only is your body going to try and store fat (due to your minimal eating) but your a losing water which is essential to helping a person lose weight and making the stomach feel full.

man, people....it's "LOSE" weight, not "loose". As in, "If I lose this weight my pants will be loose."

Try the "Body for Life" diet. It works great...fist-sized portions of 1 carbohydrate group and one protein group 5-6 times a day, 6 days a week. On day 7 you eat whatever you want. This not only makes it easier to follow and you have something to look forward to, but it also keeps the body from going into starvation mode and slowing down your metabolism. It's important to eat the smaller portions throughout the day because then you don't have spikes in blood sugar, thus it is not as readily stored as fat.

Well first of all it is not a good idea to eat only once a day like that. it confuses your metabolism. You should eat small quantities of healthy foods several times a day. But to curtail hunger when you have eaten and need to wait drink a large glass of water. the hydration will help flush toxins out of your body but it will also make you feel full. Also, you will eat less when you do eat if you drink.

not eating is the worse way to loose weight. You need to eat , or your body is gonna totaly Shut down , an your gonna be in real trouble.

you should eat 6 Small meals a day , that way your body has time to Process the small meals.
Try Fruit & veggies , an Meat. Taking out all the Carbs , helps ALOT.

But .. if you insist on not eating .. take up Smoking Cigs , that kills the urge for food.
