Do you think that finding love is a goal or an aim that people should work for in life? or do you think that love is not a goal or aim in itself but is something that might happen or not in one's life?

A little from column A and a little from column B.

What I mean is -don't spend your life looking for it, but when something good turns up grab it with both hands because it's very important

Love is something to look forward to. It is the amazing gift of God that allows us to be happy eternally by the amazing gift which we were so wonderfully given. I think that in order to truly love and be loved, we must want love in our life, and must be willing to love unconditionally with all of our hearts. By doing so, we are allowing love to enter our life. Our goal should not be to seek out love, rather, it should be to figure out how to love unconditionally once we have that love in our lives, and how to maintain love even in the most dire of time. Love is a destiny, a dream, a land of happiness and hope, and a gift. Love itself is not a goal; it is life's destination.

I think that love is something that happens in everyone's lifetime, it is just that some people are far too busy to notice or even care when it comes and then leaves just as quickly as it came. Love enters everyone's heart at some time, but the cold and calculating heart of materialism/hatred/indifference sometimes takes over and casts the love like a stone from the heart. It is then that people truly get hurt. However, the beauty and purity of love shall prevail and elevate the soul to heights greater than any person could have ever imagined. When you have love, it is the ultimate honor to maintain. As I said, though; love is not a goal or an aim: it is a meaning of existance, a purpose, and a destination that shall eventually fill and warm the hearts of those who truly believe in it.

Love isn't something you work towards it's not a goal or a aim to base your life trying to get. Love comes naturally and it doesn't come cuz someone wants it to, it comes when the time is right. Love usually comes when people are not trying to fall in love, not when people are trying to fall in love.

I think you find deeper love when you are not looking or making it a goal. If it becomes your goal, you lose part of yourself. Instead of enjoying and experiencing life to its fullest you spend your days looking for a mate Also, I think if you look to hard, you may confuse every feeling you have for someone as love and end up with with someone you don't love at all.

Life is a numbers game. I think a good goal is to meet as many people as possible, but let love take care of itself. It WILL happen, but if you try to "make it happen," you can convince yourself that you're in love when you aren't.

I think you'd have to be a really rare person for it not to happen automatically sometime, I'm guessing MANY times in your life.

I'm pretty antisocial and yet I've found people to fall in love with and date. So I don't think it needs to be a goal, it never has been for me. Instead, it just happened.

love is not a goal to aspire to outside of oneself, love is an inner peace that trans ends all levels of being if a person has achieved a positive spiritual level of knowing(self thru super consciousness-consciousness & sub conscienciousness then one will be able to attract the level of "true love" that that person in on be it spiritual/ physical or familial but that's just my opinion
