I've witnessed and experienced truly wonderful, amazing things. I call them wonderful and amazing. I can fully appreciate mind boggling things without feeling a compulsion to attribute those thing to a deity.

ever see a 20000 pound elephant appear painted green out of nowhere? that would be a freaking miracle. sunsets are rays of light bouncing around in the atmosphere being turned into nice shades of orange and purple, which we perceive as beauty as we aren't used to seeing those colors in the sky. maybe a gift from god, but maybe just that. and i'm not an atheist, just think your question is ridiculous.

We have the same range of emotions as a believer. We just don't credit a deity whom may or may not exist for the work done by nature.

If your biblegod can "just be" without a need for a cause or an explanation, why can't the universe itself? What you're doing is called "special pleading", a classic logical fallacy....

What do *you* call it?
How about "unexplained by science as yet."
Or nature's beauty. Depending. All of the things you listed are explained by science, so while you may wish to call them "miracles," they are just the result of some predictable catalysts.

I bawl my eyes out everytime I see the end of the movie Big Fish because it's so great.
Does this mean that Tim Burton is God?

it's still beautiful.... it's the beauty of nature
an inspiration
something that makes life amazing
that's all it is to me
we aren't cold hearted....we see the same as you, only we don't concern it as being a gift of god
