I was in Canada for a vacation a few weeks ago, and I couldn't beilive it! I felt right at home, they had tons of em.

Wendy's
McDonald's
Taco Bell
Subway
Quiznos
KFC
Denny's
Dairy Queen
Baskin Robins
Burger King
A&W
Pizza Hut
Domino's
Krispy Kreme

AND they have a whole slew of there own called
Tim Hortons
Harveys (like Hardees)
Mr.Sub
Pizza Nova
Swiss Chalet

HOLY MOLY! I Couldn't beilive my eyes when I saw all these places. They even have Starbucks! It's like fast food paradise there, yet there arnt as many fat peeps as there are here in the U.S. It's so weird ! I thought they would only have like McDonalds only, or Polar Bear Burgers lol.

Did you know they had all those chains in Canada? I sure didn't. Although there was a big dissapointment for me ... they have no Chick Fil A's or Dunkin Donuts in Canada.

You should have come to Toronto, where you would realize that we also have Dunkin' Donuts, and Sbarro, and a few others you failed to mention

Oh my god, we do. Damnit, will have to go back and see that. Did you know Korea has all those places too? Who'd a thunk it possible for someplace other than the States to have anything modern. And the reason there are no Dunkin Donuts is because compared to Tim Horton's all other coffee is like drinking mud. All hail the Timmie's everyone ready to roll up the rim. And by the way, there are Tim Horton's in several American states but only the ones who are close enough to Canada that they could smell the marvelous coffee and just had to build their own.

Ppl are being very rude here, but you're not any different from the average American - they don't seem to know much about us at all. The American school system tends to focus solely on the US rather than other countries unfortunately. I'm glad you got to learn a few things;-) My friend who moved to the States after she married an American once said that the standards for those fast food chains aren't as good in most places (cleanliness etc.), but maybe that's just her opinion.

Oh, btw just b/c they had all those restaurants where you visited, doesn't mean it's the same across the entire country - for instance, where I live we don't have Starbucks, only Tim's!

Yes we have all those restaurants and more...
we have had Dunkin Donuts, but it and Krispy Kremes are not as popular here. You forgot to note our Arbys, Pizza Pizza, 2 for 1 Pizza and Popeyes Chicken. We also have Country Time, Bakers Dozen, Country Style donuts. For coffee we also have Timothys and Second Cup. We now have Tim Hortons in the United States of America. So come on up and fill up that belly of yours! Heck I will help you with a tour of fast food that will make your belly burst! Just don't look for White Castle.

I'm Canadian so yes I knew. How could you not know? Well I am glad you went to Canada and realize we don't have drive through igloos. And Tim Hortons beats Dunkin Donuts any day. And yes thankfully we are not as over weight as Americans although it has gotten worse over the years.

You know that most countries have McDonalds and Burger King. I have had Star Bucks in Thailand, Spain, and even in UAE (middle east). Subway is popular in many countries as well.

Why is that so hard to believe.
These big companies are all over the world.
And it doesn't make it a better one.
Just have your food at home, or a nice bar/pub/restaurant.
Much healthier for ya, then all that junk food crap !!!

You're acting as if Canada is some sort of third world country here. Why wouldn't they have these places?

It' s funny how so many Americans seem to know so little about the rest of the world....even a country right next to them.
