It's not insecure it is nervousness and unsure. Or should I say uncertainty. Everyone is uneasy when they are uncertain about a situation. Just don't allow your insecurity to ruin your new relationship.

Yes it is very normal. The two are just getting to know each other and have no real idea of what type of person the other one really is.
Especially if one of the people has been cheated on in the past or has had bad relationship experiences. Some people fell confortable in the relationship after just several months, for others it might take years.
I suggest open communication. Talk to the other person and make him or her confortable enough to talk to you, be open and honest with each other and let each know up front what you want and what you expect.

It is very normal to feel insecure when you first start dating, I do not think you grow out of it.

maximum extremely it does. enormously if it is your first relationship, yet in spite of if it is your fourth, seventeenth or 50th, the emotions of lack of self belief would be there for a short on a similar time as. you're constantly going to be sure new issues approximately the different guy or woman, and area of that lack of self belief is worry of the unknown, so be constructive to talk with your different 0.5 in lots of situations on a plethora of matters and you will discover the emotions of lack of self belief minimalizes over the years.
