Well just because the two of you had sex doesn't mean that you have a relationship with her and you need to tell her that
But on the flip side if you told her that the two of you were in a relationship you need to let her know that your family comes first and she comes second and if she does not like that she can move on and be with someone that will spend his every waking moment with her.
I guarentee you that she will not like that but she will have to get over it and accept what you told her and still be with you or she will move on
