I am a sikh, but I ONLY feel "sorry" for the minority of "very good" muslims who have endure the extreme muslims who "mock" the religion.
I also think that the media here should show the innocent women and children killed in the middle east, they do boost about it when something happens here.
Life is life, no matter which innocent poor soul has been killed, all gods children. Treat people equaly and you get the same too.

I am not a Muslim. Nor do I believe or follow any of the attested holy books and the religions springing from them. From this perspective...
I feel very badly for any group of people who must suffer the slings and arrows of some very bad apples through association with them. My personal list would include,
1) Muslims
2) Evangelical Christians (being associated with someone like Pat Robertson would frankly terrify me)
3) Jews (they are still being blamed for the death of Jesus)
4) Pagans & Wiccans (people still believe that they worship the devil)
Afghans, Iraqis, Cubans, all of these and many more must suffer the consequences of judgemental ignorance.

Christ yes
What a bloody awful religion
teenagers are so unhappy that they blow themselves up
men so unhappy they shout and blame everyone else for their pedicament, Women trapped in the home and forced to wear burkahs and at the end of the day they wont get into heaven , because they wont repent their sins. Yet it is so simple to embracre the word of our Lord Jeaus Christ, and look at the difference, you can go down the pub and get baddered for a start, no praying to mecca umpteen time a day marry who the hell you want, not someone from Bangla Desh who you folks arranged for you to marry, commit adultery without the bird getting executed, on the other hand there are advantages as well, cant think of any at present but there must be.........

I do. I am a Christian and I have a few Muslim friends. I know that they would never do anything to harm someone. And yet they are getting ridiculed all the same. It is sad. The world needs to realize that there are going to be extremists in every religion, every culture, every nation. We need to look past the extremist stereotyping and look at the individuals. Sort of like how some people get on here and blame Christians for all kinds of crud. Not all Christians are the same, not all Muslims are the same... look at the individual.

Interesting question. But where are the good muslims? Shouldn't they be out in droves speaking out against these extremist? I haven't seen them. I am so sadden by the fact that there is a race of people out there who stand by and support terrorism in such an immense way and that hate a country because of a leader who is obviously inept and stupid. It's president bush who is to blame but also the entire muslim community for not speaking out againt these acts of violence and just letting them happen. There is a whole nation out there that thinks it's okay to hate western civilization just because it is different. Well let's reverse that thinking and western civilization can hate their thinking because it is arcaic and backwards and let's just blow them up. Hmmmm....bet they wouldn't be okay with that.

Then, why don't the 'good Muslims' come forward and help fight against the 'bad Muslims' I am not hearing an all out war on the 'bad Muslims' from the 'good Muslims'. When I see that happening then and only then, I can differentiate.

I do feel bad for the "good" muslims, but they also need to do their part. Why do we not hear about the good muslims speaking out against suicide bombings and terrorism? Islam in itself is not a bad religion, it is those that twist and contort it until their views are shown through. I want to see more of the good muslims step up and take a stance against the violence and backwards living of the fundalmentalists.

I ECHO EVERY WORD from across the pond AS BELOW
"Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11, 2001? Were people from all over the world, mostly Americans, not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan , across the Potomac from our nation's capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania ?
Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they?
And I'm supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was "desecrated" when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it wet?
Well, I don't. I don't care at all. I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.
I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere possession of which is a crime in Saudi Arabia .
I'll care when Abu Musab al-Zarqawi tells the world he is sorry for hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling slashed throat.
I'll care when the cowardly so-called "insurgents" in Iraq come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in Mosques.
I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of Nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs.
I'll care when the American media stops pretending that their First Amendment liberties are somehow derived from international law instead of the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights.
In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave marine roughing up an Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don't care.
When I see a fuzzy photo of a pile of naked Iraqi prisoners who have been humiliated in what amounts to a college-hazing incident, rest assured that I don't care.
When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank that I don't care.
When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, And fed "special" food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being "mishandled," you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts that I don't care.
And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled "Koran" and other times "Quran." Well, Jimmy Crack Corn and ---- you guessed it - - I don't care ! ! ! ! !
If you agree with this viewpoint, pass this on to all your e-mail friends. Sooner or later, it'll get to the people responsible for this ridiculous behavior! If you don't agree, then by all means hit the delete button.
Should you choose the latter, then please don't complain when more atrocities committed by radical Muslims happen here in our great country.
I am not deleting this, I am sending it on, but only after I add:
--"Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference In the world. But the Marines don't have that problem."
-- Ronald Reagan
I have another quote that I would like to add AND...I hope you forward this such as I have.
"If we ever forget that we're One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under." also by... Ronald Reagan

There are constantly people who're fanatical approximately their faith. that's unlucky that they are those that get out of control and have people who're grasping for funds offering the fireplace ability to reek havoc on others. That being mentioned, is it suitable for any ability to compliment what's democratic or no longer, or is it a query of putting militia foundation in that section for extra effective administration and get right of entry to to different international places and a query of how lots oil that usa has? Missionaries can lend help without merchandising or inflicting their ideals on others.
