Not all muslims are irrational and ignorant. They are just like you and me, Christians, Jews, etc etc. The media has done a good job corrupting the minds of americans to believe that all muslims are barbaric animals in the support of our governments conquests. Let me ask you, would you fight for your religion? Would you kill for the right to earn salvation? I don't personally feel this is the right avenue for muslims but I do admire the faith and dedication to their religion, which is something many Christians fail to have. Worshipping God in your little bubble and not being proactive towards the great commission in the least like MOST christians do is exactly what God hates. This type of believer is lukewarm at best and God detests these types of people (Rev 3:16 - "So, because you are lukewarm - neither hot nor cold - i am about to spit you out of my mouth"). if you are going to believe, do it with everything you have! The point i'm making is that many muslims are on fire for their religion, and i really respect that considering the state of christianity today.
I hope you are reading this with an open mind. Why do you think Muslims hate America? Because we support the jews who are hated for very good reason, not because we are Christians. America gives all sorts of leeway to Israel to do whatever they want whether it is morally right or reprehensible. If we hadnt supported them throughout the years, this middle east conflict would be non-existant.
Please, listen to what everyone else is saying. You have no possible way to know that your religion is right and someone elses is wrong. Why? Because you, including myself, don't know enough about the religion to make judgements on it. Have you studied any religion other than your own? Have you read the holy books of those respected religions? If not, how can you make a reasonable judgement against it? Many of the muslims i have met seem to know much more about christianity than most christians i know.
Finally, what religions don't have a history of violence for the sake of their beliefs? Find one and tell me. Christians, Jews, Catholics, Muslims, etc have all done horrible crimes against humanity and this is true even today. Just because Christians and Jews attack other countries in a more formal fashion does not make it any less barbaric.

Give them a religion and they will try to convert everyone and kill innocent people who dont(look at the Crusades and Inquisition), when will Christians realize they are ignorant and irrational? When will they realize they are violent and evil?

Perhaps Islam is wrong, but the odds are good that your religion is also wrong. Let's face it, we don't pick our religion. Our religion picks us through birth. Most people take more time choosing clothes in a store than they do their religion. There are hundreds of religions in the world. Suppose that one of them is exactly right. What are the odds that you were born into it?
Personally I think that organized religion is a real problem in this world. People should be free to read as much as possible on different idealogies and they should make their own choice. Religion should not be the "business" that it is today.

Every religion thinks they are the "true" religion. When will you accept that everyone is entitled to believe what they choose? When will you stop being prejudice and actually educate yourself before you regurgitate media-spewed propaganda? There are billions of peaceful Muslims who would never hurt anyone. And what proof do you have that the Prophet is false? Maybe Jesus is false. Try thinking before you show the world how ignorant you are.

well let me put it like this to you mr onesided onetracked mind.
religion is here to give ppl a sense of purpose and to guide them thru there daily miserable lives. people have used religion as means to go to war ex. the crusades and today iraq and afghanistan
but let me ask you this is your religion worth dying for. mine isn't i don't beleive in either but i am versed up on them enough to understand it. frankly islam is not a bad religion it has 7 more chapter to its old testament in the quron than the bible. you know fore as i care about your stupid remarks you think jus like insurgents usin the quron as reason for war. in actuality in quron it is against allah to not accept helping hand. muslim people are not all hardcore religious fanatics that your biased opinions suggest some just trying to live right andmake good money and jus survive.
insurgency uses quron in name of evil work not true muslims. so u need to brush up on your religion and read quron too maybe you get broader veiw

From their perspective, when will Christian's realize that they are wrong? It's all a matter of perspective isn't it? Christian's kill abortion doctor's to support their beliefs, the Inquistion was all about Christianity and how many people were killed then? Saying that they are ignorant and irrational is a bit like calling the kettle black, if you are an example of a "good Christian" sign me up as a Muslim!

When will you realize that most Muslims are peaceful people, and that it's the extremists that are getting all the attention now?
BTW, I'm not Muslim. I don't agree with a lot of their doctrine, but that doesn't mean you can condemn a whole religion just because of the extremists. Look at the Crusades. Talk about extremists!
