Answer given by "shemz" is quite sufficient & explanatory one. I think, you should read that answer seriouly. you can also check the website of AICTE of which link is available in his answer. I would also suggest you that why you are not asking it to the authoriries of the institute. If they refuse to furnish such information to you, you can take it under the act " Right to Information " Best of Luck !!
