why do you do this? don't you know your setting yourself up for a fall and a potential break up?
i have seen this so many times. why can't you except your man for who he is and love him for his flaws and all? afterall he was good enough to start dating in the first place so what made him not good enough anymore?
if he doesn't wanna get married, for example and you do, why do you still continue to date him? i'm all for the women, believe me, but would you like him to try to change you? would you like to know your not good enought for him anymore? coz thats what your telling your man when you try to change him.............

Change? You cannot change a person they have to be willing to make changes for themselves and not the person h e or is dating. If you think you have skills enough to change the person you are involved in then you need to check into yourself because it is really you who need to change. The only thing you can change about a person is the way the dress perhaps buying new clothes cologne getting them hip with the new styles or teaching them about a relationship and/or sexual experiences.
COme on accept the person for who they are or don't bother trying to be with them it will never work. Just keep this in mind or you willing to make a new person for someone else to come along and benefit from your end results...
Man or woman made better for the new lover what a TKO!

I don't see why either sex wants to change the other. When you fall in love with that person and then you try to change them, they won't be the same person you fell in love with. There are things I found out about my husband after we married that I didn't like. I didn't try to change him, but we did talk about these things. He just toned down a lot, but didn't stop. We are very happy 10 years later.

my mom and sister have the same problem i think its cus they really love there men but they have huge flaws major ones and the problems didn't come out until much later and by that time they were in love what they don't realize is that sometimes love is poisonous. and thats when you have to deal with there problems or leave them and try to find someone better. but there will always be small things that bug you about you spouse its natural those you can deal with

sometimes cahnge is for the better. For example let say your man likes to go out and drink with his buddies all the time. if you don't let him and make him change for you , you will get a better more responsible man because of it. he will no longer feel like he has to go and drink which is actually better for the both of you.

i agree. women should not try to change their man. they think that if they better them, things will be better. thats not always true.
