I use to work around the corner from the Royal York Hotel.
Go to the underground parking lot of the Roy Thompson Hall. It is the cheapest parking lot in the area.

Good Luck and
Welcome to Toronto

I'm not 100% certain but you can try the parking area at the Air Canada Centre.
It costs $10 a day but if you want to keep your car there over night, they may charge more. That's just an alternative to what the other's suggested. Best of luck and have fun in T.O.!

If you go through the P.A.T.H. system to the bank buildings, most of them have parking lots that usually have special overnight rates. The problem would be that you won't be able to park there days because so many people drive to work.

You can search for the closest parking garages on this site of the Toronto Parking Authority: http://www.greenp.com/tpa/parkinglocator/CarParks/Downtown%20Fringe/58/58.jsp?LOCATOR_OPTION=11

Hope that helps!
