This is a pretty common dream.
We are frequently inside some dwelling, rather than outdoors. The House is your Ego, your shelter against the world.
Since it can change, you are versatile, in any changing environment. but you need to look at your FEELINGS, when the change happens. Do you feel secure, by these changes, or do they scare you.
You did not indicate insecurity, so you seem fine. Life is like that--changes.
Lots of things change suddenly, in dreams. I had one where three daughters of the devil were engaging in sex--play, and they suddenly changed into my mother, my brother, and an ex--wife!!
They are only dreams, but only YOU can interpret them. No one else. Dreams are intensely personal messages from your inner self. It's good that you pay some attention to them.

I don't know but I have had that same type of dream twice. Oddly, it's usually a good thing in the dream.
