Not a good idea.
When you race the car at wide open throttle, the car wouldn't see any air coming into the engine so it wouldn't compensate with extra fuel. You would probably run extremely lean and could easily blow the motor.
If you're trying to make the car faster, there are much better ways to do it as removing the MAF would slow your car down anyway.

Hello, this is Mark. The answers before me are good so there's no need for me to give you the same thing. But if you would not mind telling us, why do you want to do what your asking? What's on your mind? I can go back a lot of years and in those years I know of two sayings, "you can make anything work" and "you can put a bigger engine into anything". I think you might be somewhere in between those sayings, so how about you comeback with a little more info, if you want. I never force anyone, but maybe you can get a better answer if you do. Mark

No not a good idea as it sends a signal to your on-board computer which in turn regulates the timing and the fuel pressure or injector time open, i.e. fuel flow. Plus you will not pass any state vehicle check.

No just no you have to have MAF to run properly. And you could start looking at new Sentra's Altima's Versa's Maxima's. You will look good in a new car wouldn't you?

Not if you want to go anywhere.Mass air flow meter provides your engine ECU with information of air temp, density of air, altitude of car,and moisture content. All of these things cause air -fuel ratio to change in order to maintain a stoichiometric ratio of 14.7 to 1

If you want the car to sputter and run like crap... and you don't mind the check engine light being on, sure.
