Yes, there are several foods and or beverages that can affect your mood. Chocolate is known to have ingredients that are known to be "mood elevators". Eating chocolate creates the same chemical reaction in your brain as being in love. I think that's why women love chocolate so much. Oysters have been said to be an aphrodisiac. Then there are foods that are considered "comfort foods" like mashed potatoes and chicken noodle soup that tend to make you feel more at ease. I hope this answers your question.

Sure it does. Food is full of chemicals. Even all natural foods are made of the natural chemicals found in the world. Our bodies are also made of chemicals. Everything we put into our bodies that is digestible changes our body chemistry because our bodies breaks down those chemicals and uses those building blocks to keep the engines of our bodies going.

Specifically, it's been proven that there's a chemical in turkey that makes one sleepy, and a chemical in chocolate that releases endorphins in the brain, making one feel as if one is in love. Interesting, hm?

Yes it does some how e.g chocolate gives you a boost for a short while but it's like a drug you either have to eat more to be happy or you get a low, alot of sugary things do the same that's why we crave them.
