good question, my son has never seen the movie, but his dad likes to pretend he's arnold schwarznegger and he always talks about the terminator and does the terminator , arnold voice so when we surfed the net for some costumes he of course asked what every costume was and when i told him about the terminator one he wanted it so bad.

You know i think all babys are cute for there first real halloween as a pumkin the whole night you will get the awwwww how cute and if you want buy the costume then pant her pace in a girly way so they know she is a girl . Im telling you she will be center of attention as for the 3 yr old i bet theres a super hero out there waiting for him to fill there shoes or to make it fun you can do like wizard of oz and do the tin man he will get a kick out of cutting up a box and wrapping it in tin foil then just seeing himself wrapped in the foil will put a big smile on his face

If you aren't planning to make the costumes, Target has a nice selection of kids' costumes (in infant and toddler sizes too) for fairly cheap. I think I'm going to get my daughter a monkey costume.

Not to be judgemental but why does you 7 year old know about the terminator? That is a violent movie! But about your other children-- what about Mickey and Minnie? or Dora the Explorer and Diego/Boots? or the characters from Lazytown?

I just saw the cutes costume in a magazine. Take a T-shirt and a Turtleneck shirt (both white) and dot them randomly with black shoe polish. Dress the child in black pants or sweats and then put the turtleneck on. The child wears the T-shirt with his face through the upper hole and the arms dangling to each side and Wallah..... You have yourself a dalmation!

My 1 year old daughter is going as Elmo. Does your 3 year old have a favorite show that he watches? Maybe find out if he has anything that he would like to be. Then go from there. good luck!

They have cute children's costumes all over the internet. I think a butterfly would be adorable for a 13 month old girl. As for your son, let him pick it out :-)

My son is 2 and he is going to be a pirate this year. I saved the inflatable sword from the happy meal when they had them and they had the eye patch on the box.
