The primary goal of golf is to get the ball in the hole using golf clubs and to have a good time with your friends.

Using clubs, of defined specification, putting a ball, of defined specification, down 18 holes , of defined specification, in the ground in the minimum number of strokes/strikes with the clubs, within the laid down rules of the game. In other words, the ruination of a damned good walk.

To take the ball from the tee-off spot and get it into the cup on each of the laid-out holes in as few strokes as possible.
More simply -- get it in the hole by hitting it as few times as you can! It sounds so simple, yet can be so hard...:)

Well they say it is to get the lowest score possible. if they say it is a four par hole, that means you should be able to get the ball in the hole within four swings. For me he goal is to keep my temper in check and not break the clubs over the competitions head.

Depends on who scored. Certain players get special things..... Lately Sidney's been getting a "Zooooooorroooo!" out of me. When Alex Ovechkin scores a goal whenever he gets a "Ovie, Ovie, Ovie" chant. Mike Modano always get's my annual......"M...M...M...MIKEY!" lmao. Jarkko Ruutu gets a "Ruuuuuuu" I usually jump up and scream "yeah!" and give everyone who is watching the game with me (usually my father and his uncle) high fives. Then my father always gives me a 'I told you....I told you!' (I use to be very pessismistic as a kid....and when I lived in Florida for a few years I really got hooked with the Capitals too. And I use to doubt everything.....I would always look at my dad and frown and say something like "Oh they're going to lose....Kolzig will turn into swiss cheese and lose" then it carried over to the Penguins "Oh, Jags find the back of the net!" So my dad always yelled 'I told you!' any time someone we were cheering for would score....and i guess it kind of stuck. lol)
