RE:
Was Steve Irwin a Christian?
I am wondering if Steve Irwin was a Christian because it is very important to us other Christians in the world to know if he is in heaven or hell. He certainly by all means deserves heaven. I loved Steve and his never-ending energy and love for life. I just wanted to know whether or not he was...

It's possible he became a Christian shortly before his death, maybe his wife Terri or a missionary had given him the gospel shortly before he died. I've read articles saying Terri is a Christian. I hope he was saved but we'll only know when we get to Heaven. We don't know what went on inside him his last moments before death.

Steve was not a Christian, as you pointed out yourself with the story of the Crocoseum baptism. But don't worry too much about it. Jesus said that He had other sheep who were not of this flock. Who are we to say he isn't one of those?

Steve believed in a higher power, but not a personal God. He also fully believed in scientific explanation in regards to the origins of man kind...You Christians are without a doubt the most selfish and nuttiest dumb asses on the entire ******* planet...Congrats.

You should know that just because someone is a "good person" doesn't mean that they will go to heaven. They must accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and ask forgiveness for their sins. We know that even "good" people will do things like breaking the Ten Commandments, because no one is perfect on this planet! And Jesus said that breaking even ONE of the Ten Commandments makes us guilty of breaking them all! So unfortunately my dear, the only way we as Christians will know for sure whether this man, or any other person, went to Heaven, is to look for them there when our time comes to walk down those streets of gold! God Bless!

Not sure how it's very important to Christians around the world to know if he's in heaven or hell. It doesn't impact you at all. I am a Christian and it's not very important for me at all to know.
However, I do know where he is. Read Ecclesiastes chapter 9 and you will also. When a person dies, they return to the ground. Only spirit anointed ones (which most of us aren't) go directly to heaven. Ecclesiastes 9:5 reads For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten.
If the dead are not conscious of anything, they are no where. They are dead. They are asleep in death.

Don´t know. But if he was, why did he never spoke of Jesus in his programs?
I believe that if you have the eternal gift from the Lord, you should try to give it away to as many people you can, and he had a lot of chances to do it. I'm not judging him because of what he did or didn't, but he was an example in many things for us.

I've seen a lot of other people wondering if he was Christian or not... and wondering myself why this is important.
I know his daughter's name is Bindi-- not a very Christian name.... it's more of an eastern thing- what women in India wear on the forehead for spiritual or social status reasons.
So if Bob was "christened" by Buddhist nuns, & not a minister or priest, that sort of gives you an idea he wasn't Baptist or Catholic, right?
