Creation around us = good.
Bible or other book = bad.
There is nothing any man wrote in any book that provides any insight into God.
Think about it. The bible-writers invented a god in their own image (the god of Abraham resembles--Abraham!). Then, they made the god do what they do (Jesus was born of a woman and died like everyone else does.) These things clue you in to the fact that the people writing the book have no idea what the greatness of God is all about.
Yet you can look at a flower, or at the night sky, and get a real sense of God, as you are learning directly from what God made.
Don't be fooled by cheap imitations! Go for the real thing!

Basically, studying the word of God, which is the Bible. Your life should be testament enough to know about God. Match your life experiences with also the creation around us and you have a great learning tool. It's unfortunate that people really don't take the time out to really realize the teaching of God. He said to seek him and you will definitely find him, but it's in the word where he truly speaks of himself.

These are two good ways, but there is a third that is essential---be still and silent and let him come into your heart and mind. Ask him questions and he will answer you. Be certain to compare those answers with what is in the Bible, because Satan has a habit of playing games. If what comes to mind matches what is in God's word, then you can be certain that it is God talking to you. God will never change or violate his word.

What if the God that I believe in was not part of writing your Bible? Why do you not include the Torra and Qu'ran as part of your learning? How do you know that the answer to those two questions are correct?

Try Anton LaVey's satanic bible. It also has much info on God. The koran also has a couple of passages mentioning god. My preferred source is man. He did create god, after all.

I also learn about God by teaching children. I think you can learn a lot about what life used to be like before this earth by watching the light in children's eyes.

If we try to understand God by our own observations and speculations, our knowledge of Him will always remain incomplete. That's what scientists do. They try to understand everything by their own limited brains and instruments.
The other way is to hear about God from those who have realized Him, directly take information from bonafide spiritual master, saintly devotees and authorized scriptures.
If we learn submissively in this way, we can get perfect knowledge about God.
