I don't think you should cut the fat from meat. It is the fat which gives the meat its flavour. If you are going to remove it cut it off after you have cooked it not before.

trip the major fat off before cooking but you need some to add moisture and if your grilling the meat need protection from the heat. meat fat has alot of saturated fat which isn't too good for you

You don't have to. Is a choice. Fat will add more flavor while cooking but it can lead to a higher potential of your arteries getting clogged. So, flavor or risk? That is the quesiton!

Well, this depends on personal taste. Personally, i do because it is healthier and saves some extra weight. However, others believe this takes away from the taste. I think a lot of people do this simply because we are told we should! But its up to you...

If you are going to cut off the fat, do it after cooking, adds flavour and tenderness when cooking.
