Well, first I want you to know my heart goes out to you, even though that is a very hard thing to do, you are doing the right thing. You have to look for a Vet who has a Mobile License, there are quite a few, and more every year, depending where you live. Vets with Mobile Licenses can travel and go to you're home to take care of your animals. Good Luck

I am so sorry about your dog. If you contact your own vet or the animal rescue in your area, they may be able to recommend someone who will come to your home and access your dogs health and see if putting her to sleep is the correct decision at this time. The ASPCA may be able to help also, or your local pet store or groomers. You are a kind and loving pet owner if you would prefer having your dog spend her last moments in her most happy and comfortable place on this earth. I am so sorry that you and she have to go through this painful time. A pet is so much of a family member, and it is very difficult to make the decision to let them go. I hope that you find a wonderful vet to help your dog during her trip to the Rainbow Bridge. I will pray for both of you, my first dog and cat I had as an adult were with me and my family for seventeen years and died within a month of each other. I have four cats and a Pom now, and they are wonderful also. I still remember my other fur babies, and am glad that we were able to have so many wonderful years together. God bless you and your dog.

Sorry to hear that...

If you are not able to find anyone to come to your house could you possibly bring the animal in to the vet? If you are unable to go to a vet you should check with your local animal shelter. Some shelters will put the animal down for you when you explain the situation. They can also cremate the animal as well and it is usually less costly then at a vet(if money is an issue)

I am so sorry to hear about your dog having cancer. How thoughtful of you to think of putting her to sleep at home, where she is comfortable. I know this must be a very hard decision for you. I would call your vet and ask them to do it as a courtesy, if not, then call around and explain the circumstances, I am sure one will come and do it for you. If not, call the Humane Society and see if one of their recommended Vets will. You are kind to think of your animals comfort at a time like this, you have my sympathies. Good luck!

You may be able to find a vet that makes housecalls. If not you can see if your vet will come to your house. You will probably have to end up taking your dog into your vet's office in order to have it done. sorry

You should call your dog's vet. As to putting your dog to sleep, I myself would not consider this unless my dog were suffering. This may be the case with your dog. I know that you do not want your dog to suffer anymore.
