YOU MAY WANT TO HAVE THE CATALYST ON YOUR CAR CHECK OUT. A STOPPED UP CAT CAN PRODUCE EXTREME HEAT WHICH WILL CAUSE O2 SENSOR CONNECTORS TO MELT. IT WILL ALSO CAUSE BAD PERFORMANCE LIKE HESITATIONS AND BAD GAS MILEAGE.NOT TO MENTION BURN UP ANY OTHER WIRING OR EVEN CATCH FIRE. SO BE CAUTIOUS WHEN DRIVING. JUST ANOTHER NOTE IF IT IS STOPPED UP AND WHEN IT HEATS UP THE CAT WILL GLOW CHERRY RED AFTER IT HEATS UP PAST A CERTAIN TEMP.

Heat is a by product of internal combustion. Installing a low restriction air intake makes more air move through the engine and could potentially increase the air flow through the exhaust.

WHAT?! exhaust gas from a internal combustion engine will always be hot! cold air and gas mix in the cylinder where it gets BURNED! i dont care if you have feed it ice cubes and frozen gasoline. if you can get your pipes to some how blow cool exhaust, sell the idea to me. then i wouldnt have to worry about my intercooler or overheating my turbo.
