Jesus will come when it is time, brother Focus on living your life now. If your life is unhappy and you are hoping to escape, look inside yourself and see what you can do to fix it. we don't know when he is coming. We shouldn't be so desperate to look for the signs everywhere. There is a lot of work left to do here.

bless you

You should be more specific. Last days of what???

We are definitely nearing the end of the age. It could be mere weeks away (November 5th 2006). (notice I said it "could" be)

But most believers are very confused about which prophecies pertain to the end of the age versus the end of the world when this universe will be burned up with fervent heat.

The previous age didn't end with a bang either. John the Baptist marked the end of that age, specifically when he baptized Jesus.

This age will end just as quietly. The prophecies concerning the first resurrection (often erroneously referred to as the "rapture") will occur at the last trump, well into the fourth and final age appointed to this creation, just as the Nation Israel continued on into the third age until the temple was destroyed and the nation scattered throughout the world.

Let's get very specific here. Open your Bible to Revelation 6, and open the hyperlink below.

The "great tribulation" has been going on around us for hundreds of years, yet few, if any, Christians recognized it as such due to mistranslations in almost all English language translations. To my knowledge, the Tyndale Bible (the first english translation of the most numerous and reliable Greek manuscripts) is the only one that got certain things right, and it isn't in print anymore.

The fourth seal has already been opened, releasing the fiinal "horseman of the Apocalypse". Since the fifth seal occurs in heaven, we may not be aware of it from our perspective upon the earth. The sixth seal involves a great earthquake. We've had so many earthquakes, this might have gone unrecognized if it werent for the accompanying catastrophies (sun/moon darkened, satellites falling from orbit).

The seven trumpets are contained within the seventh seal, the opening of which marks the end of this age.

So yes indeed, we are in the last days of this age, but it won't be what most Christians think.

There have been earthquakes ever since the creation of the earth, far more frequent and far more violent in times past than what we see in modern times. Some people in every age since the time of Christ have predicted that the end was near, sometimes even predicting the exact day. So far they have all been wrong. The Bible says NO-ONE will know the hour nor the day. Therefore if anyone claims to predict the time it will happen, we can be certain of one thing. It won't happen then.

I like your question and like it more that you're a believer. I am a believer too as a Muslim or prophet told as about the signs of the the end of this world (or the last days as you said), and there's two kind of signs :small and big.
Smalls like(some exp):gold and diamond will be very cheap
The desert will be a beautiful garden
Big like: the sun will rise from the west(not from the east)
The coming back of Jesus to kill some one dangerous in this world(that's another story)

Conclusion I think we still have some days ahead

Oh my goodness yes I believe that. We have been living in the Last Days for a long time now. Things are kind of speeding up though. The bizarre weather, natural disasters, the various wars and especially the war in Iraq, the meetings with the Pope and the main stream religions that are voting for a one world religion. All of these are in the prophecies that are told in the Bible. The increasing lack of respect of each other AND of human life and other lives.

These meetings with the Pope ARE REALLY HAPPENING. If you don't think that's important, please think again. If you are a Christian then please reread your Bible especially Daniel and Revelation.

YES, the Bible is mostly symbolical, but these symbols mean something. They mean something that we need to know in order to be ready for the day when Christ returns.

Every generation before us has believed it was in te end of days. I am no exception. Just sit back be good person accept Jesus and wait. It does seem that in todays world the signs are a little more litteral than figurative though. Then again every previous generation has said that too. Just be prepared and like mam said "wear clean underwear' not that they woll be clean when the rapture occurs I think it wil scare even the most devout, especially the televangilist when they are denied entry nto the Kingdom.

We could perhaps be. do no longer forget approximately that Jesus mentioned no one might actually understand the time of His return different than the daddy. in spite of if, Christians in the time of historic previous have thought the comparable element: that we in simple terms had to be residing interior the final days because of the fact of ways issues regarded to them. bear in strategies God's timetable isn't a human one. he will do all issues in His time. wait and notice. with the aid of ways, residing as though those have been the final days is extremely Biblical. on a similar time as all of us understand that we could attain heaven earlier Christ returns to earth, we additionally understand that factor is short for any human. no count if or no longer Christ returns earlier each human beings is named house is a moot factor, somewhat, to this point as how we could desire to stay. A human existence is so short that we could desire to awaken and get busy for Christ from the 2nd we grow to be His.

I'm a believer and I am not worried about whether or not I am living in the Last Days. Life is a gift and I chose to enjoy the time I am given here and make every moment count, rather then live in fear of what may or may not happen.

I believe we are living in the last days and Jesus is comming soon, but I believe that we have been living in the last days and Jesus has been going to come soon for nearly 2000 years. Just as the days before the flood were thousands of years, yet were covered in just half of the first book of the Bible, so are the last days.

Nay sayers spout that Christians have always said the end is near. But that is in error. Only in our generation has Israel become a nation again, just as Christ said would happen in the end times. Based upon that, I believe we will see the rapture in our lifetime.

Keep looking up.
Run the race.
Keep the faith
Fight the good fight
