Does she have a fever? Has she been pulling at her ears. Sometimes fever and vomiting are signs of an ear infection. It could also be that she is getting her molars in and it is causing her a lot of pain. Try giving her infant Tylenol and use the baby swabs with orajel to get to the back of her mouth.

There are already quite a few good suggestions, but also teething can have weird effects on a body and she is close enough to two that she could be getting molars already. Also, she is at an age where she will eat what you give, rather than stopping whenever she is full. Make sure you research appropriate portion sizes for children and are not feeding her too much, which will give her a tummy ache. Best of luck!

Is this an one time issue or does it happen often??? Some times
children have some thing going on in their head that they cannot tell youhowever, when you lay them down it may cause pressure to the brain. If this happens often PLEASE seek medical advice and if you are not satisfied seek an second opinion. My daughter had this same issue but it happened a lot I had to see three doctors before her problem was confirmed, she had an brain tumor , when she would lay down or put pressure to a certain area of her head she would cry. But other than her crying she was doing everything a normal toddler would do .That is why it was hard for the first two doctors to see what was going on. when in doubt ALWAYS seek medical attention it is better to be safe than sorry

Did she have a fever? The quick fix would be Tylenol or Mylecon drops. They are tummy drops that break up gas bubbles. They worked wonders for my boys and they work within a minute or 2. Try the Wal Mart brand. Much cheaper. If she threw up it may have been from a tummy ache or just that she had cried for so long she got an upset stomach.
