Well the ones that were born before Christ and was following god's laws and commandments will go to heaven and be with god. People like Noah and Abraham and all there followers, there are also alot more people back in those times before Christ, see in those times god show the people that he was real with all the plagues and destroying the city shodom and germorrah god was sending these people signs that if they don't follow him that they were doomed. That's why god send down Jesus because people were sinning so much that he could not take it anymore he was going to destroy the whole world until he came up an idea to come down in human form to see what it was like for humans and that's where Jesus Christ comes in the picture. And you also have to understand this that when the ten commandments came about the first was that there shall not be no other gods before the creator who is god. God made it clear that he was a jealous god and no one should worship any other, but him so it's not like people did not know what god wanted back they knew loud and clear. For people who were born Muslim or any other religion it not because god made them that way, it is the enviroment they was raised in. Their parents and antsesors decided to be rebellion and to follow or make up their own god to worship so who's fault is that. There is a propecy in the bible that says that every man shall know of god so that everyone is held accountable for there actions. That propecy came true people are out on the streets preaching the word and on public transportation everywhere preaching the word of god and telling people about Jesus Christ and about god. So no one on matter what religion can say they did not know, because god is making sure everyone knows of him. I don't know if all non-christians are going to hell I can't answer that one cause who I am to say anything but what I do know is that god is a jealous god.

I'm with you. Would a loving God burn people for eternity? Would you put your child's hand on the stove burner because they disobeyed you??? The Bible doesn't even support the hell doctrine.
WHATEVER image the word "hell" brings to your mind, hell is generally thought of as a place of punishment for sin. Concerning sin and its effect, the Bible says: "Through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned." (Romans 5:12) The Scriptures also state: "The wages sin pays is death." (Romans 6:23) Where do we go after death?
Adam "came to be a living soul," says Genesis 2:7. He did not receive a soul; he was a soul—a whole person. The Scriptures speak of a soul's doing work, craving food, being kidnapped, experiencing sleeplessness, and so forth. (Leviticus 23:30; Deuteronomy 12:20; 24:7; Psalm 119:28) Man himself is a soul. When a person dies, that soul dies.—Ezekiel 18:4. When pronouncing sentence upon Adam, God stated: "Dust you are and to dust you will return." (Genesis 3:19) Before God formed Adam from the dust of the ground and gave him life, Adam simply did not exist! When he died, Adam returned to that state of complete absence of life. The condition of the dead is made clear at Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10, where it says: "The dead know nothing . . . In the grave, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom." (New International Version) Scripturally, death is a state of nonexistence. The dead have no awareness, no feelings, no thoughts. Since the dead have no conscious existence, hell cannot be a fiery place of torment where the wicked suffer after death.

Everyone that rejects the salvation God has provided through His Son Jesus Christ will be damned. The Bible is very clear about this. If there is someone to be held responsible for people not hearing the gospel (by which people can be saved) it is the church. Jesus has charged the church with the message of God's love and forgiveness in Christ. It is our responsibility to tell the world about Him. However, if someone hears, and rejects the truth, then they are to be blamed. I don't have all the answers when it comes to discussions about those who died before Christ. Jesus talked about Father Abraham being on other side of a gulf that seperated him from an unbeliever suffering in hell, Moses and Elijah both appeared to Jesus during His transfiguration on the mount...those who were devoted to the true God in this life will be taken care of. God has purposely limited our knowledge so that He can see what our decisions are on the basis of the information He has given us. In other words, He has given us opportunity not only to believe Him, but also to doubt Him. Ultimately however, this reveals the true nature of a person's heart toward Him, whether to accept Him or to reject Him - and this is the centrally important thing.

No, I don't believe that they will. I agree with Pope Benedict that Christianity can be approached with faith AND reason, and it would not be reasonable for God to condemn people to hell just because they didn't happen to be born in a time, place, or family where Christian teaching would be available to them.
The important thing for everyone is to seek God's will with a sincere heart and to act according to your conscience. Since I believe that Jesus is God, anyone seeking to do God's will is really a Christian, even if they are not aware of it themselves. I believe that the sacrifice of Jesus was for all people across all times, including those who would never be exposed to the Gospel.
Ultimately it is God, and not me, who must judge. I have total faith in his love, mercy, and perfect justice.

Technically all religions says all of us started by going to hell if you don't do something. However, unlike other religions that think we can go to heaven through our own effort of doing good, Christians belief the only way to go to heaven is just by believing that Christ has redeemed them, ie paid for all the sin and debt.
Those born before Christ, if I am not wrong, goes to a holding place call paradize till judgement day.

There were people who believed in God before Christ. They believed on God and the promise of the One who was to come (Jesus). They will not go to hell.

Yes. People who were born before Christ were still able to be saved through belief in God. Everyone has the opportunity to be saved. God has revealed himself through nature to everyone (General revelation).
Psalm 19: 1-4 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.
Rom 1:20 For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

Basically you should understand and believe these things:
1. Heaven is a free gift-it cannot be earned or deserved.
2. Man is a sinner and cannot save himself.
3. God is merciful and doesn't want to punish us, but He is just so He must punish sin.
4. Jesus Christ was God and Man. He lived a sinless life and died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins and rose from the grave to purchase a place for us in Heaven.
5. Faith in Jesus Christ is the way to Heaven. This means trusting in Jesus Christ alone for eternal life. Rest on Christ alone and what He has done, not what you can do.
So transfer your trust to Christ, accept Him as your Savior, receive Him as Lord, and repent. If you pray these things to Him you will be saved! :-)
Romans 10:10,13 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. For, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
John 6:47 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes has eternal life.
Luke 15:10 In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.

No, I do not believe that all non-Christians are doomed to Hell. For that matter, I don't believe that all people who call themselves Christians are predestined for Heaven!
But, back to your question: Jesus makes it pretty clear in Matthew 25 that many of those whom He saves (the sheep) had no idea that they were helping Christ himself when they were doing good works for the "least of their brothers." They didn't know they were Christians--they were just following what God had "written on their hearts." (2 Cor. 3:3)
Thanks for reading and God Bless!

If ignorance is bliss your are now in heaven. If you believe that GOD made man in his image It only stands to reason that he wouldn't condemn his creation to Hell if he didn't believe in Christ. Don't forget Christ was a Jew and Christianity was only created after his death, so if that were the case Christ would be in Hell.

No I don't believe all non-christians are going to hell. But I do know a lot of self appointed good Christians who have already earned a card telling them to go direct to hell without passing Pergatory and without receiving 200 Hail Marys.
