If it is OK to heat food in Corningware baking dishes on top of a glasstop stove, then how high can I turn up the heat?

I have been using Corningwear almost exclusively for the past 30 years. No problems, though I do think a pad underneath is a good ide to diffuse the heat.
I use a metal one on my glass hob, and have done the same on gas. Keep heat low. I nearly aways re heat in the microwave now.

Might be okay but I would not risk it. My biggest concern would be for the glasstop cookstove. The life of the Corningware baking dishes is not good with direct heat ... the high temp direct heat allows them to chip easier.

I wouldn't necessarily do that. You're going to need to heat it up in the oven. Nine times out of ten, the baking ware might explored on top of the stove. Keep in mind, it is Corningware and they are particularly known for baking.

No, it's not OK, they will crack, or explode. I once accidentally left an empty corningware baking dish on an electric burer and it literally exploded all over my kitchen. Luckily I wasn't standing in front of the burner at the time.

Typically No. Corningware is designed to work best by indirect heat from all sides. There are always exceptions but this one is not a very good one

Yup! I always use Pyrex glass for my lasagna. It’s much easier to clean. I can scrub and know that I’m not damaging the pan. For really good lasagna, make the night before- or several hours before- have it just like it’s ready to go in the oven- and let it sit in the frig. It really adds to the flavor. And those no-boil noodles work well.

Don't put it on top of the stove, you'll get black marks on the bottom, adn you could crack the dish. Just put it in the oven.

No, don't put Corningware on a burner. You can't use it on direct heat like that.
