We watch TV or DVD that we both like, while I just sit on his lap, and eat popcorn. (Since we always have stock of popcorn in the house, we don't have to spend). We get to caress each other and enjoy the movie at the same time.

Go on a hike. Personally for my husband and myself, we can talk more when we are out of the house. Too many distractions for both of us when we are at home.

if there is any kind of river walk around your area, try that. or maybe a carriage ride through the city...or maybe you both could just go pick a fight somewhere...i hear that's a pretty good bonding experience

Camping in your back yard!!! Sounds stupid but it's fun! And the restroom facilities couldn't be cleaner!
