Hey Tasneem,

Your asking the questions to western countries who don't know what the **** democracy means because they are dictators using democracy to force there way on Muslims countries for oil.

Our prophets didn't need to call for democracy because the Quran and the hadith are democratic only Muslims know that so do we give **** what any other faiths think?................ nah x x

America does not practice pure democracy like the Greeks did. We have a representational democracy and I cannot say that it works very well. Since I have no alternative suggestion and since Americans seem to love the concept of democracy without having the actual condition, things will stay the same in this country. Since the American government was not founded on the Bible, democracy not being mentioned is a moot point.

I don't see why they (Muslims, as it was a Muslim that you say originally made the query) don't just vote for Shar'ia Law if that is what they all want. Put it to the people.

People could move to a more strict state if they wanted to. What it is really about is not living Shar'ia, but forcing others to.

Personally I choose Democracy. A king ordained by God will not share my views...

Christianity and democracy are not really compatible. Christianity supports a monarchy. Democracy is against this.

Well they wanted God himself to be there KING!

I have not seen many kings I would go for!
I would rather be in a democracy!
I do not trust many elected in a republic!

NOTE:
The US is a republic!

God and his prophets never called for peanut butter M&M's either, but I still think it's a good idea.

democracy is like a little kid...
...nothing wrong with it, but you have to draw some lines somewhere or it will grow to become out of control.

DEMOCRACY NEEDS DISCIPLINE !!!!!

democracy in theory sounds good. in practice, it is just another form of tyranny.
