There is a web site called the hairstyler.com and you take a picture of your face and it puts your face in thousands of different hair styles. I had long hair and with the help of this site I cut my hair short and have had so many compliments. It does cost like $15 for a three month membership worth every penny if you are going to go dramatic.

Before cutting look for some place to donate it. There are chemo patients that would it would help.
I personally don't like long hair. It gets in the way. It clogs drains, gets in my eyes, etc. Yes I admire it on some people sometimes, just not everyone.
I would like to see a before and after. but of course that is impossible.
I like to see a woman's neck and you can wear cute earrings and different collar styles, etc

Do not cut your hair unless you absolutely want to. You may get sick and really miss it once it is gone. If you do cut it, do not go very short, cut it to upper-back or shoulder length. I know people with short hair get tired and wish they had longer hair to try out all kinds of styles on. Whether your hair is short, medium, or long I think eventually you run out of different styles to wear. If you really love your hair keep your length OR at least do not get a drastic hair cut. Whatever you do, you want to make sure it compliments your face shape and facial features too.

cut it to something that you think is most like you. try hunting in fashion or hair magazine until you find just the right hairstyle, then take it to the hairdresser to ask if they can cut it like that! sometimes, if you don't feel like getting it cut, best thing is to once again look in magazine or somthing, find a style for your hair that you think would suit you - go to the hairdresser (or maybe a talented friend!) and ask how do to it with mousse. you have no idea how different, unique and cool you could look with mousse on long hair, believe me, i've tried it! hope it goes well!

I grew mine for a couple years and cut it into a short layered cut a few months ago. I donated my hair to Locks of Love. I would do that, if I were you. It's probably time for a change. Go drastic! You can do it!

Go to a good hairstylist and just tell them you want something different have them surprise you but do tell them about how long you would like to keep your hair. I did that once, I let my hair grow very long and one day I said ok I need a change, I went to my hairstylist and told him I need a new style surprise me and I told him how long I wanted my hair and he did an excellent job he gave me to long layers and added volume it looks great.

Go to Locks-of-Love if you decide to have it cut off. That way the hair can be used to make wigs for children who are undergoing cancer treatment. And if you end up not liking your new hairstyle you will still feel good about what you have done.
