I have been posting question after question regarding my 15 month old sons heart murmur. We went to Akron Childrens yesterday and got a second opinion and the Atrial Septal Defect has closed on its own and also he has VERY mild aortic stenosis which the Doc said he wouldnt even note and mild aortic insufficiency. He said he will be allowed to play sports, doesnt need antibiotics for every cut he gets and he most likely wont need a surgery until well into adulthood!!!!! I feel like a new person. I am so happy for my son and thank god every minute for giving us a miracle!!

Sounds like you hit the jackpot with doctor you have. Some would have milked that condition big time. Focus on best eating and exercise lifestyle practices, which he could easily make routine at his age, and examples you practice are best teachers. Hope you give Doc lots of positive feedback. It was great hearing story with positive results, and all the best.

that is wonderful news!!!! my son had a heart murmur and grew out of it,and we just had a scare with our youngest child he had a lump on the back of his knee,we were so scared it was cancer but it wasn't thank god...turns out it was just a bakers cyst,no need to take it off or drain it the doctor said it will go away on it's own. believe me i know what you went through. good luck
