i am a follower of Christ.its even funny-er when Christians pick and choose what they want out of the bible instead of doing what there suppose too.

I don't think it is strange or funny because I have never heard anyone say that jumbled sentence. I don't believe anything you just said. Possibly, revamp your idea and rephrase it to our understanding. My question is :Why would it be any different for a literal Bible translator to say that any more than any one else. Isn't that a normal statement for human beings since so much junk is printed which has no meaning, is false or faulty, often down right lies and simply just someone else's opinion. Do you believe everything you read? Is this the pot calling the kettle black?

Not at all. People who believe in the validity of the bible also believe that it was written divinely. That is, the writers were divinely and spritually inspired by God. God's not at work editing the Wall Street Journel.

What is so strange?
Once you understand what is written, its literal!
But it is the only book that is written on 3 levels, and to take it literally only on the 3rd level!
