Give them the rest of that scriputre so they know what it is telling them.
Isaiah 29:13 Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
Forasmuch Matt 15:8,9 Mark 7:6,7
14 Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.
1st Cor 1:19
15 Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us?
16 Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?
Rom 9:20
If we stay in the word of God, we are less likely to fall away from Him and obey him, which is what He expects from us. Since we fall short of His glory every day, for we are all sinners, we are to repent of our sins daily and recoginze exactly what our sins are, so we can work at improving our selves before the Lord.
We cant' change what is wrong and sinful with in us, if we don't recognize the sin to begin with.

Dear Lavio O,
There is only One man that kept God's law perfectly--that is the Lord Jesus Christ. The Scribes and Pharisees attempted to "trap" Jesus in His statements, but each time they left convicted of their sins or ashamed. Christ also kept the laws oif the government--when payment of taxes was required, Jesus had Peter to go fishing. Peter caught a fish with money in its mouth to pay Jesus' and Peter's tax.
None of us can keep God's commandments perfectly because we are born sinners (Psalms 58:1-3; Psalms 51:5). However, when saves a person-gives them a new resurrected soul--they become a new creation in which he has an earnest desire to obedient to God's word. The Bible says, "Herein we do know that we know him if we keep his commandments. He that saith I know him and keepeth not his commandments is a liar and the truth is not in him." Psalms 119 also attests to the desire of one that has been redeemed (saved). The Bible is the very word of God, however, it is a very difficult book.

Good point. We who believe in the Almighty( may He be blessed) should keep his holy days like the one coming up this Friday and the one on Oct 2 or 3.

I do my best to live in accordance with God. We must remember not to judge what others do. The important thing is to walk in accordance to the personal relationship we, as individuals have with God. We can set examples with our lifestyle, we can take opportunities to give our testimony of Christ in our life to others, and we can teach when others are seeking to learn. We cannot impose our beliefs on others or judge them for what they do. The Christian way is not to look at what everyone else is doing right or wrong, but rather work each day on bettering ourselves. There are people who damage the efforts to bring others to Christ by judging people for what they think others should be doing. Lets pray for each other, serve God with our thoughts and actions and try to treat others with respect and love in a nonjudgmental way.

I am responsible for the moral code of the law, and yes I keep those. No one can keep the commandment perfectly. This was only accomplished by Jesus and because I am baptised with Him, He looks at me as if I've kept them. The law is holy, but we are unholy. We need Christ's imputed righteousness.

Here's the problem. Since we never actually see or hear from God, himself, how do you tell which laws are of man and which are of God? Clearly some of "God's" older laws are no longer valid. For example, it used to be perfectly legal for a parent to slay a disobedient child. Today society generally frowns upon this. So was the law originally of God or of man? I can you ever really know?

God has no commandments as he doesn't exist. Nor does Heaven, Hell, or Satan, nor, unfortunately, a pride of invisible anthropomorphic lions who live in my backyard and pounce me down and dress me in leather.

Man created the concept of 'god'. So to obey god's commandments actually means you're obeying man's.
