Hey Alexandra,

Yes, I like it because you took the time to do it.

I really like your monotone approach! The blue grey (difficult to be sure of the color on the internet), is a COOL choice, makes me warm up to it. I like your use of shadows.

As a whole, it makes me wonder what was the inspiration for this? Is it an interpretation of another work? Is it an original thought? Are you living a new life, and you use to be a painter in the Middle ages? In any event, this is a Great Painting. I would be pleased to have it in my office. I hope you are doing this professionally! You have talent!

So, are you Blanca or Alexandra? And did you copy the painting by Leonardo or Photoshop a print?

If your's is an actual painted copy, with you actually altering the color tones then you do, indeed, have talent. Many young artists have studied their craft by copying the masters. It does help your credibility if you admit this in advance.

Also, stay away from painting on wood. Use canvas. Wood is far too problematic and prone to warping and color fade.

It's good. I gotta say I don't like it as much as you're drawing of the girl with the flower. I think some of the edges aren't very sharp and look a little hazy... though that my be from scanning it, or whatever you did to get it online. It seems like you really like working in black and white, that's my favorite too. When you work in black and white you really need to focus on contrast... your background is close in shade to the foreground so it doesn't bring very much attention to the subject. Your attention to detail is your best quality, don't let that go... that's what will always set you apart from artists who aren't as talented.

Hope you don't mind the critiquing... it always helped me when people gave constructive criticism instead of just saying, "that's great!"

Well made, but very conservative and derivative of earlier work, particularly of the 17th-18th century. You certainly have good drawing skills, now if you can come up with original content you'll have something going.
