There are 2 ingredients in that Cocktail. But there should be more Vodka than Kahlua.

Black = Kahlua
Russian = Vodka

1 1/2 oz Vodka
3/4 oz Coffee Liqueur
Ice
Pour ingredients into a glass 1/2 full of ice and stir well.

As you can see fro all the answers you have received and quite correctly the main ingredient is vodka, it is mixed with Kahlua in a 2 to1 ratio over ice. Do not add coke do not use Tia Maria these are poor latter day variations on the theme. Cheers

black russian is a mix of
30 ml vodka
30 ml khalua
and if u add 1/2 and 1/2 milk and cream
the name will quikly become
white russian

2 oz Vodka and 1 oz Kahlua
