Well, it certainly was an invented idea after the Bible....seeing as it isnt mentioned inside the Bible. So, I beleive that you are correct - this was the only way that Christains could explain how Jesus could be both the son of God and God at the same time....invent the lie of the Trinity.

The Holy Trinity was "created" in 325bce at the council of Nicea in modern-day Turkey (the modern name of the site is Iznik, where production for the ceramic tiles for most of the Ottoman period mosques occured). It was in response to a divided Christian populace across the Roman Empire and was attempting to unite Christians. There were other forms of Christianity floating around all debating the issue of whether Jesus was a human, a human incarnation, or a God, whether or not He sinned during his life, etc. One of the main theologies the Council was attempting to discredit was Arianism, which put Jesus below God and created a hierarchy. Arianism was defeated, and hence that's why all Christians, Orthodox, Catholic, and Prostetants, believe in the three-in-one Holy Trinity. It had little to do with the Ten Commandments at all.

No one worships Mary. Some of my uneducated Protestant brothers accuse Catholics of this, but it's not true.
Jesus is God. He said, "I and the Father are One."
The Father, of course is God.
But there is also a distinct person called the Spirit of God.
There is one God, three distinct persons joined from eternity to eternity by love.
Why do you expect to understand the inner workings of God? It's got to beyond what human mind can conceive by definition.
Everything that exists has parts. Atoms have three parts: Electrons, protons and neutrons. Each of those has three quarks, and three pairs of gluons. See a pattern here?
Perhaps someday we will discover that these parts have parts that have parts. Planets have parts, stars have parts, galaxies do and even groups of galaxies and super-strings have parts. Seems the ONE GOD likes things with parts.
God is somehow a society while at the same time one being.
Don't expect to understand how, but it's all because of love.
The Trinity is not a theory, but empirical evidence of humanity's most intimate dealings with God, chiefly from the gospels.

No, the Trinity does not try to get around the 'first commandment. The 'Trinity' is simply God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Ghost, all referred to in the Great Commission (Matt:28:19). The easy way I think of it presently is they are a team (one). (John 10:30)

God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost were not created. They make up the Godhead. When God created Adam He made him in His image and likeness. Man is made up of a trinity also, Body, Soul and Spirit. Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 1 Thessalonians 5: 23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ is the God that created all things. Ephesians 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: The Lord Jesus Christ became a man so He could come to earth and die for your sins. Philippians 2: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: Philippians 2: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: Philippians 2: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

The Trinity is the 3 personalities of ONE God.
just as one person might be a mother, sister and office worker all at once, God is Jesus, the Holy Spirit and God all at once.

God created man , man sin through disobidience, to rescue man, Jesus , the second person in the holy trinity, he is God mind you , came and was born of the virgin mary and ""was made man.''', and die for man. so people worship God the holy trinity, one God three persons,Father, son Jesus and the Holy spirit, but people do not worship Mary but venerate her for she bore us God the son.
i advice you strongly do not take God matters for fun or as a joke ,take everything else but not this ,
if you genuinely want to know ask him he will guide you.
otherwise stop jokes and making fun on spiritual matters

Holy trinity was not created to get around the first commandment God is truly and still is God. The holy trinity is God, you have god the son the god the father and god the holy spirit. So you see all three is god, God just wanted to show to the world how powerful he is and that he is one and only true god. People don't neccessary worship Jesus Christ as you can recall from the New Testament where Jesus says "he is the son of god and no one comes before him except through him" meaning no one can come to God unless through Jesus Christ. Why do you think in order for someone to be saved they have to except Jesus as their lord and savior and believe that he died and rose the third day, it's not to worship Jesus it is to get to God, because you can not get to god on your own you have to god through his son Jesus in order to get to him. And also with the holy spirit which comes down and confirm to god that you are one of his, the holy spirit was not made up to be worship, but to confirm that god is truly with us and we are one of his. With Mary she was not made to be worship neither but you are right some people do worship her, but it was no suppose to be that way. God use her to show to the world how powerful he was and also to use his son to wipe away the sins of the world and also to teach the world and to show that world that he is real. The holy trinity and Mary are use to show that god is who he says he is, all of god's work is done through Jesus, Holy Spirit and was done through Mary, not so that we can worship them, but to show to the world the mighty works of god and how he is real.

Yep!
Judaism believes in a simialr Concept to the Holy Spirit but does not believe it to be a serpate entity equal to G-d, more of a feeling of empowerment imbued by G-d. The trinity was invented to make Christianity more accesible to pagan converts.
