Any job where there isn't much activity, isn't a great job for fitness. But, there's always time for a daily routine. Also, at least there's some movement, not always in the same spot, the door has to be opened lol.

Unfortunately you have picked the wrong profession if you want to stay healthy. Being a bus driver is worse for keeping fit, as you very well know you do not get a lot exercise and when you get home all you want to do is sleep, I know what you are going through as my husband was a bus driver and his weight shot up 16 stone, now that he has finished due to ill health he is down to 12 stone in 12 months.

LOL, it probably ranks pretty high up there... I'd bet my high school job (Dairy Queen) was worse though... Free cookie dough... MMMMmmm... Anyway, as with everything else, there is a way around it. First of all, people who sit at a desk aren't getting any more fitness opportunities. You can go to the gym before or after your shift. Secondly, there are milder exercises that help tighten your muscles that people can do even whil watching TV, so surely they could be done while on a bus. You may want to practice them with your TV first, though. You don't want to be so concentrated on squeezing your buttocks that you aren't focusing on driving and run over a few pedestrians... :)

If you feel you've put to much weight on, then why don't you try doing some exercise after work, not necessarily down the gym but going for a fast walk 3 times a week will help.
If your that unhappy and some excerise doesn't help you then maybe a change of job might help.

Unless you are driving a bus 24/7, you should have plenty of time to DO something. Maybe you are just lazy and need some place to put the blame?

The worst job for fitness is playing a comatose patient in an ongoing soap opera.

No not really but you must exercise also, you don't drive 24 hours a day, lay off the soft drinks coke and especially diet soda's, and eat a lot less bread!
