Depends on what you get... the question is too generic but chinese food is not globally healthier than "fast" food.

Not at all. Many of the sauces use a very high in sugar. Then there's the large amount of carbohydrates. The rice and the noodles, of course, and then half of the meats are breaded or wrapped in any variety of doughs. Yes pizza is very low on the "healthy" scale. And KFC isn't much better they do have unbreaded options available on the chicken but almost every side item is a serious carbo-load. But, at a burger joint you can easily avoid sugar and drastically reduce your carbohydrate intake. It is possible to get some truly healthy food at a Chinese restaurant, but it's also very easy to get an extremely unhealthy meal.

Like anything else you eat! It depends on how much; how it is cooked; seasoned; etc. Most Chinese food is loaded with 'msg'-- that is not good for anyone!
Try the healthier dishes like the sweet and sour pork; the fried shrimp; or best of all 'pepper steak and do not eat large quantities! it is also good to have a salad and it can not hurt to have fruit and jello ( any flavor you choose) for dessert!
Eat in moderation!

while it may depend on what it is and how it's prepared, I believe it's more healthier... the big thing is to avoid fried and sodium smothered items. most chinese food consists of more veggies and rice than meat, which is a good option... besides, how many over weight chinese folks do you normally see?

That depends on whether it is authentic or not. If its the real deal, as made in China, then you're good. Otherwise, clogged arteries and MSG, here you come!! Doesn't stop me from eating it, though. Who can resist the allures of beef teriyaki?

Steamed with no sauces is okay, the rest is not good. The sauces are very high in fat.
